  Former Boston College quarterback Matt Valecce, who threw for more than 10,000 yards in his high school career, said Monday he will transfer to Colorado State for his final two seasons of college football. Valecce, 6-foot-5 and 210 pounds, appeared in six games at Boston College in 2019, completing 3 of 7 passes for 27 yards. Valecce announced his commitment on Twitter. He becomes the fifth player from Boston College's program to follow former Eagles coach Steve Addazio to Fort Collins. Offensive linemen Cam Reddy, Elijah Johnson and Adam Korutz transferred to CSU a year ago and started for the Rams in the COVID-19-abbreviated 2020 season.
