Greenard, a four-time SEC Defensive Lineman of the Week honoree and Bednarik Award Watch List selection, has helped the Gators reach their highest sack total (46) since 1997, while being second on the team in tackles (52), including a team-high 15.0 tackles for a total loss of 64 yards.

The Hiram, Ga. native has tallied six performances of at least six tackles, highlighted by a career-high nine-tackle performance against Georgia, while recording an interception, two forced fumbles and an 80-yard fumble return for a touchdown on the season. 2019 ALL-SEC FIRST TEAM (COACHES): TE Kyle Pitts, Florida,...Sophomore tight end Kyle Pitts was the lone Gator to be named to the All-SEC Offensive First Team, putting together a remarkable breakout season with a team-high 51 receptions for 610 yards, while becoming the first Gator since 2016 to haul in 50 receptions. Pitts has corralled five touchdowns on the year, good for third on the team, while he leads all tight ends among the Southeastern Conference in receptions, receiving yards and touchdowns. The Philadelphia, Pa. native has tallied five games with at least five receptions throughout the season, while notching five performances of over 60+ receiving yards, including a five-reception and career-high 108-yard performance against LSU on Oct. 12. Junior cornerback CJ Henderson, a three-year starter for the Gators, is entering the NFL Draft. An All-Southeastern Conference selection as a freshman and sophomore, Henderson announced his decision via Instagram on Friday afternoon. Henderson has played in 34 games the past three seasons and started 27. He moved into the starting lineup early in his freshman season in 2017 and gained a reputation as one of the country's top cover corners. Henderson will skip Florida's upcoming bowl game and begin preparing for April's draft.

Henderson finishes his UF career with six interceptions, 22 passes broken up, seven tackles for loss, four sacks and two forced fumbles. He missed three games this season due to an ankle sprain that forced him to the sideline for Florida's wins over Kentucky, Tennessee and Towson. In last week's 40-17 victory over Florida State, Henderson had seven tackles and one tackle for loss. Florida receiver Kadarius Toney stopped in the end zone, struck a pose and pointed to the scoreboard as Florida State players walked by. He was taunting the rival Seminoles -- at halftime. The game was essentially over at that point, and everyone knew it. Kyle Trask threw three first-half touchdown passes, including two to Freddie Swain, and the eighth-ranked Gators hammered the Seminoles 40-17 to end a four-game, home losing streak in the series. "That's bragging rights for your neighbors," said Florida's Dan Mullen, who improved to 6-0 in his coaching career against FSU. The Gators (10-2, No. 11 CFP) locked up consecutive 10-win seasons for the first time in a decade, finished unbeaten at home for the first time in four years and celebrated their first winning streak against FSU since 2009.

Florida scored touchdowns on four of its first five possessions, needing two fourth-down conversions to get the first two, and was able to start celebrating long before the final seconds ticked off the clock. "I think it was just a big statement for us," Trask said. "We haven't been getting a whole lot of respect around the country." Pass-happy and pretty much one-dimensional, Florida picked apart FSU's beleaguered defense -- a rarity in a series that typically features stout defenses. Trask completed 30 of 41 passes for 343 yards, including two short ones to Swain that went for scores. One of 22 seniors recognized before their home finale, Swain caught a screen pass, waited for a block, split two defenders and sprinted 19 yards to cap the opening drive. Kyle Trask threw two touchdown passes after a sluggish first half by No. 11 Florida and the Gators beat Missouri 23-6 on Saturday. Trask completed 23 of 35 passes for 282 yards. That was plenty of offense for Florida (9-2, 6-2 Southeastern Conference), which held Missouri to 204 total yards. Linebacker Jon Greenard spent most of the day in the Tigers' backfield, finishing with two sacks and five tackles for loss. The Tigers (5-5, 2-4) have lost four straight games and haven't scored a touchdown in the last two. Florida led 6-3 after a first half in which the teams combined for 10 punts. The Gators struggled up front offensively in the first half, allowing four sacks to a team that had only 14 sacks on the season entering the game. They gained just 29 yards on the ground before intermission and finished with 56 rushing yards.

It was a similar story for Missouri, which welcomed Kelly Bryant back at quarterback after he missed last week's game at Georgia with a hamstring injury. Bryant repeatedly slipped out of the arms of blitzers to extend plays, but the Tigers struggled to put drives together without any help from its running game. Bryant completed 25 of 38 passes for 204 yards and one interception. Missouri's only scores came on two Tucker McCann field goals. The Gators finally got going in the third quarter when Trask connected with Josh Hammond for a 34-yard touchdown pass and hit Lamical Perine for a 15-yard TD. Kyle Trask didn't really know what to call his first touchdown pass of the day. He thought about it for a few seconds before settling on "kind of a free throw shot." If so, his last two scores were breakaways dunks. Trask threw for a career-high 363 yards and three touchdowns -- the best passing performance by a Florida quarterback since Tim Tebow's college finale -- and the 10th-ranked Gators overcame a lackluster start to thump Vanderbilt 56-0 Saturday. "I think we could have put up a lot more," Trask said. Florida (8-2, 5-2 Southeastern Conference) was sluggish early, failing to convert a fourth down on the opening possession against the league's worst defense, missing a field goal and throwing two interceptions.

It looked like another version of the "Cocktail Party Hangover," which seems to happen every year after losing to rival Georgia in the game dubbed the "World's Largest Outdoor Cocktail Party." But the Gators responded with their most dominant quarter of the season, turning a 14-0 lead into a laugher in the Swamp. They ended up outgaining Vanderbilt 560-128 and winning their sixth straight in the series and 28th in the last 29 years overall. "It was a good feeling to get the bad taste out of our mouths," said safety Donovan Stiner, who had two interceptions in Florida's third shutout of the season. Florida linebacker Jon Greenard cleared up any questions about his status for Saturday's game against No. 8 Georgia with two words: "I'm playing," he said emphatically. He'll do so with a brace and maybe a limp. Greenard badly sprained his right ankle late against Auburn on Oct. 5, tried to play the following week at LSU and lasted one series. He ended up on the bench with a towel over his head to hide his emotions. He sat out Florida's last game, a victory at South Carolina on Oct. 19, so he's had nearly three weeks to recover. "It's getting there," he said Monday. "It's good, though...I just know I'm going to be out there, and that's all that matters." The Big Ten has reprimanded Penn State defensive tackle Antonio Shelton for spitting on a Michigan State player during a game. No. 7 Florida expects to have elusive receiver Kadarius Toney back for its game against 10th-ranked Georgia next week. Coach Dan Mullen said Wednesday that Toney, who has missed six consecutive games because of a left shoulder injury, will return against the Bulldogs on Nov. 2. "He's a playmaker," Mullen said on the Southeastern Conference's weekly coaches' call. "He's an explosive guy when he gets the ball in his hands, so having that back ... Obviously the more playmakers you can put on the field, the better you are, the harder you are to defend, the more explosive you can be. So I think it will be great to get him back out there." Toney took a hit in the first quarter against Tennessee-Martin and left the field in pain. He returned to practice this week. The junior has 43 career receptions for 484 yards and two touchdowns as well as 39 carries for 363 yards and a score. The Gators (7-1, 4-1 SEC) also expect to have their top two pass-rushers back. For three quarters, Kyle Trask saw the overthrows and ineffective runs, the penalties and missed assignments. He knew something had to change. It finally did. Trask threw three of his career-high four touchdowns in the final period Saturday to rally the No. 9 Gators to a 38-27 win at South Carolina. Trask, sensing the game slipping away, told his teammates: "This isn't us." He then helped the Gators (7-1, 4-1 Southeastern Conference) avoid a second straight loss after falling at No. 2 LSU 42-28 last week. "We found our identity and started making plays," he said.

This season, the identity of Florida's offense is very much in Trask's hands. The redshirt junior, starting because of an injury to Feleipe Franks, has led the Gators to their best start since 2015. After a week off, Trask will bring Florida to a final, defining stretch with games against No. 10 Georgia, Vanderbilt and SEC East-leading Missouri in the chase for a spot in the SEC title game. Things didn't look promising through the third quarter. South Carolina (3-4, 2-3) held Florida in check and took a 20-17 lead in trying for its second consecutive win over a top 10 opponent after beating then-No. 3 Georgia in double overtime last week.
