With the Sun Devils graduating veteran cornerbacks Chase Lucas, Jack Jones and Timarcus Davis, Hill likely would have contended for a starting spot come the spring.   10/11/21 - Teddy ProchazkarSr/2026, Nebraska, 6-9, 320 (DS#999 OT) + More +

Nebraska offensive lineman Teddy Prochazka will miss the rest of the season because of a knee injury. The freshman was hurt in the 32-29 loss to Michigan on Saturday, his second start at left tackle. Coach Scott Frost said Prochazka would have surgery next week and should return for spring practice. “You feel terrible for anybody when they get hurt," Frost said Monday. "These kids put so much time and effort and energy into this and Teddy's been just improving by leaps and bounds since he got here. He was getting to reap the benefit of that. It's a tough setback. Guys come back from these things and he'll be fine.” Turner Corcoran will take over for Prochazka at left tackle and Bryce Benhart will move into Corcoran's spot at right tackle for the Cornhuskers' game at Minnesota this Saturday. Prochazka was the second true freshman in the modern era to start a game at left tackle. Corcoran was the first, getting the start at Rutgers in 2020. - AP College Football

  08/31/21 - Cam Taylor-BrittSr/2022, Nebraska, 5-11, 196 (DS#10 CB) + More +

The surreal scene that played out as Nebraska defensive back Cam Taylor-Britt drifted back inside his own 5-yard line to first field a punt, and then try to throw it out of the end zone when he was about to be swarmed by Illinois' coverage team, doesn't mean the junior captain will be taken off punt return duty any time soon. Nebraska coach Scott Frost on Monday reiterated his confidence in Taylor-Britt while saying the Huskers as a whole need to make better decisions all over the field. "Cam Taylor is one of our best players; I love him like a son. He's a Blackshirt, he's a captain," Frost said. "(But) you can't try to make a play when you've been trained to do something else. And he'll learn from it." The play cost Nebraska two points, of course, and gave Illinois a first-quarter lead while sending Husker fans searching for the antacid. "We made one critical error on the punt return and did what we weren't trained to do and coached to do," Frost said. "There's critical moments when you've got to make a snap decision and a smart decision, and a decision that's best for your team, and there was a few times in that game when we didn't. And those mistakes really cost us." - Lincoln Journal Star

  08/26/21 - Jamin GrahamrJr/2024, Nebraska, 6-4, 240 (DS#999 OLB) + More +

Jamin Graham, a Class of 2019 recruit who was buried on the depth chart, announced Tuesday afternoon that he's entering the transfer portal. Graham, 6-foot-4 and 265 pounds, did not appear in a game for Nebraska during his two years in the program. This summer, he was not included on NU's initial 116-man preseason camp roster, which made his standing on the depth chart clear. The Attalla, Alabama native was a three-star recruit who chose Nebraska over offers from Louisville, Minnesota and others. When he first arrived on campus at Nebraska from Etowah High, he began his career as an outside linebacker. Graham, though, was never able to move his way up the depth chart, eventually moved to defensive line, and remained a long way from seeing the field in Tony Tuioti's veteran group. - Lincoln Journal Star

Florida State cornerback Brandon Moore is no longer with the Seminoles program. Moore's departure was first reported by 247Sports and later confirmed to the Orlando Sentinel by an FSU spokesman who said the graduate transfer from UCF was "no longer part of the program." The Sanford product announced his decision to transfer to FSU on Jan. 11 after four seasons at UCF where he accounted for 77 tackles and two interceptions in 26 games for the Knights. Moore suffered an ACL injury in the second half of the 2019 season opener against Florida A&M on Aug. 29 and he was among a handful of UCF players who remained on campus during the summer despite the coronavirus pandemic to continue their rehabilitation work. - Orlando Sentinel

He was a late addition to the 2019 recruiting class. The 6-foot-7, 290-pounder didn't appear in a game in his two years in Lincoln. He redshirted in 2019, and didn't play in a game in 2020.
