Joshua Dye had 39 carries for 181 yards and scored on runs of 25, 15 and 3 yards Saturday night to help Southern Utah beat Central Arkansas 28-21. Bronson Barron, on second-and-goal from the 1, faked a handoff to Dye up the middle, rolled right and went untouched into the end zone to cap the scoring with four seconds left in the third quarter. Landen Chambers ran for a 4-yard touchdown late in the second quarter and capped a nine-play, 75-yard drive to open the second half with a 2-yard scoring run to give Central Arkansas (3-8, 2-5 United Athletic Conference) a 21-14 lead less than three minutes into the third quarter.

The Thunderbirds responded with a 12-play drive that took more than seven minutes off the clock and culminated with Dye's short TD run. A couple plays later, Mikey Allen intercepted a pass to give Southern Utah possession near midfield and set up Barron's go-ahead touchdown. Barron was 20-of-26 passing for 204 yards and threw an interception for Southern Utah (6-5, 5-2). Chambers finished with 110 yards rushing on 19 carries. Austin Myers was 17-of-32 passing for 224 yards and threw a 2-yard touchdown pass to Malachi Henry that opened the scoring. - AP College Football

  11/15/25 - Kewan LacySo/2028, Mississippi, 5-10, 210 (DS#3 RB) + More +

Kewan Lacy rushed for 224 yards and three touchdowns, including the go-ahead score on the first play of the fourth quarter, and No. 6 Mississippi rallied past Florida 34-24 on Saturday night. The Rebels (10-1, 6-1 Southeastern Conference, No. 7 CFP) finally put the Gators away with 1:43 left on Lacy's 31st and final carry, a 4-yard touchdown. Ole Miss took over on downs after Florida went for it on fourth-and-9 at its own 4, and Sage Ryan broke up D.J. Lagway's desperation heave at midfield.

As coach Lane Kiffin's squad took a knee in the final minute, Ole Miss fans chanted "We want Lane!" in a bid to persuade their sought-after coach not to bolt for another school - possibly Florida. And Lacy celebrated with a postgame slam dunk on a portable basketball goal at midfield. The Rebels have won at least 10 games in four of the past five seasons, including three straight, and this victory solidified their chances to make the College Football Playoff. Florida (3-7, 2-5) has lost 20 consecutive games away from Gainesville against ranked opponents since beating Georgia in 2020 in Jacksonville, Florida. That streak will extend to 2026 since the Gators' final two games are at home. - Mississippi/AP College Football

Mississippi sacked LaNorris Sellers six times and the No. 7 Rebels held off upset-minded South Carolina 30-14 on Saturday night. Ole Miss, third in the SEC and ninth nationally in total offense, looked rather pedestrian as Trinidad Chambliss completed just 12 of 21 passes with a touchdown and an interception. He threw an 8-yard TD pass to Dae'Quan Wright and scored on a 15-yard run, but the Rebels (8-1, 5-1 SEC) were forced to settle for short field goals on other possessions when they could've taken control. Suntarine Perkins and Da'Shawn Womack sacked Sellers twice in three plays after the Gamecocks (3-6, 1-6), trailing by nine, reached the Ole Miss 33 with a little more than seven minutes left.

On the first play after the turnover on downs, Kewan Lacy scored on a 54-yard run to put the game out of reach for Ole Miss. "To go to 8-1, the only loss at Georgia, and we were ahead by two scores and should have finished," Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin said. "I didn't feel great about our passing performance, but I've got to remind myself that we're in the SEC and 16-point wins are good. They've got some really elite (SEC) players, especially on defense." The Rebels also intercepted Sellers twice in the last 5:27. Perkins had 1½ sacks and an interception with 5:21 remaining. While Chambliss was erratic, the long touchdown run was an exclamation point for Lacy, who finished with 167 yards including 101 yards in the first half. - Mississippi/AP College Football

Joshua Dye rushed for a career-high 204 yards with three touchdowns to power Southern Utah to a 28-7 victory over Utah Tech on Saturday night. Dye, a sophomore who did his damage on 24 carries for Southern Utah (3-5, 2-2 United Athletic Conference), scored on a 20-yard run to open the scoring in the first quarter. Will Burns ran it in for two points and Jayden Rogers added a 35-yard field goal for an 11-0 lead that held through a scoreless second quarter.

Dye had the lone score of the third quarter on a 13-yard run and upped the Thunderbirds' advantage to 25-0 with a 92-yard touchdown run with 11:29 left to play. He has already rushed for 1,166 yards this season, tops in the FCS. Bronson Barben had a 4-yard touchdown run with 7:08 remaining to help Utah Tech (1-7, 0-4) avoid the shutout. He had 233 yards on 27-for-41 passing with an interception. Rogers kicked a 22-yard field goal for the final margin. Bronson Barron completed 10 of 17 passes for 110 yards for the Thunderbirds. Burns completed all three of his passes for 43 yards. - AP College Football

Trinidad Chambliss threw for 315 yards and a touchdown and Kewan Lacy ran for two scores to help No. 8 Mississippi defeat No. 13 Oklahoma 34-26 on Saturday. Ole Miss finished much differently than last week, when the Rebels led by nine in the third quarter before falling apart late in a 43-35 loss. "Same Georgia feeling crowd started coming alive," coach Lane Kiffin said. "And then obviously much different response by us. And I didn't feel like they ever, you know, kind of freaked out. And they had each other's back." Chambliss also rushed for 53 yards and often scrambled to create extra time to make throws. "He's a winner," Oklahoma coach Brent Venables said. "It's what he's done against everybody. But we needed to play better (to) have a chance to win. We needed to do a better job against him. So I didn't have them ready to do that." Lacy had a hard-earned 78 yards on 27 carries and Winston Watkins had four catches for 111 yards for the Rebels (7-1, 4-1 Southeastern Conference).

Against Oklahoma, Ole Miss put up 431 yards on a team that led the nation in total defense and ranked second in scoring defense heading into the weekend. John Mateer was 17 of 31 for 223 yards and a touchdown and an interception for Oklahoma (6-2, 2-2). Isaiah Sategna had six catches for a career-high 131 yards, but he had a costly fumble in the fourth quarter that stunted the Sooners' momentum. Xavier Robinson ran for 109 yards and two scores. "A lot to learn from in a really painful way," Venables said. Chambliss looked like a magician in the first half while gouging Oklahoma's typically stout defense with 160 yards passing and 40 rushing. Lacy ran for a touchdown in the first quarter and another in the second to help the Rebels take a 22-10 lead at halftime. Ole Miss offered Oklahoma a lifeline early in the third quarter by going for it on fourth-and-1 from its 25. A mishandled snap gave the Sooners the ball at the Ole Miss 15, and the Sooners kicked a field goal to trim the deficit to 22-13. The Sooners then got their dormant ground game going. Robinson's touchdown runs of 65 and 9 yards in the third quarter put Oklahoma up 26-25 heading into the fourth. Chambliss' 8-yard touchdown pass to Trace Bruckler early in the fourth put Ole Miss up 31-26. - Ole Miss/AP College Football

MIDSEASON AP SEC TOP FIRST-YEAR TRANSFER: Quarterback Trinidad Chambliss, a transfer from Division II Ferris State, has been a difference-maker for No. 5 Mississippi. Chambliss has the attention of Smart as the Rebels prepare to play at Georgia on Saturday. Smart says Ole Miss coach Lane Kiffin's staff "should get the greatest award there is for finding this guy. I don't know who scouted, who found him, but he is a really good football player that they went out and got and did a tremendous job." Chambliss has passed for 1,286 yards and rushed for 281.   No. 4 Ole Miss pulled out a 24-21 victory over Washington State in a game that shouldn't have been close to begin with. The Rebels got off to a slow start, with their first three drives resulting in a turnover on downs, a missed field goal and a fumble. Ole Miss went on a 10-0 run in the second quarter before a back-and-forth contest in the second half. The Rebels secured the win, but it wasn't top-five caliber play. - AP College Football
