  Pierce Holley and Herman Moultrie each rushed for a touchdown in the final five minutes and Georgetown rallied to defeat Bucknell 29-21 on Saturday. Holley, who passed for 251 yards and a touchdown, faked a handoff and took off up the middle to score the go-ahead touchdown, 22-21, from the 8-yard line with 5:13 left. Moultrie added an insurance touchdown with a 33-yard run, crashing up the middle before bouncing outside for the score with 2:55 to play. The Hoyas (2-4, 1-2 Patriot League) ended two of Bucknell's last four possessions with interceptions, including Jovone Campbell's pick to end the Bison's final drive. Jonathan Honore also made an interception. Freshman Ethan Grady went 12-for-20 passing for 162 yards in his first start for Bucknell (1-6, 0-3) with three touchdowns against two interceptions.   Joshua Stakely scored on a 5-yard run in overtime and Georgetown rallied to knock off Delaware State 20-14 in nonconference play on Saturday. Stakely accounted for all 25 yards of the Hoyas' OT drive, carrying four times. Georgetown had a chance to win its season opener in regulation, but Conor Hunt's 35-yard field-goal attempt sailed left with 5:26 remaining. Stakely was held to 18 yards rushing in regulation play.

The Hornets (1-1) jumped out to a 14-0 lead. Sy'Veon Wilkerson scored untouched on an 11-yard run on the first play of the second quarter to open the scoring. Tylik Bethea connected with Jerrish Halsey for a 14-yard score on Delaware State's next drive before being shut out the rest of the way. Georgetown didn't score until 4 seconds before halftime when Joseph Brunell hit Ser Portobanco for a 17-yard TD, making it 14-7. Brunell threw a 36-yard scoring strike to Camero Crayton with 9:36 left in the third quarter to knot the score at 14. Delaware State had the ball first in OT, but Joseph Delgado's 37-yard field-goal try was blocked. - Georgetown/AP College Football

  Gunther Johnson threw two short touchdown passes, the Georgetown defense defended its side of the field and the Hoyas defeated Lafayette 14-10 on Saturday. Johnson hit Michael Dereus from 8 yards out in the first quarter and his 1-yard touchdown to Joshua Stakely gave Georgetown (5-2, 1-1 Patriot League) a 14-10 lead at halftime. The Hoya defense made the score stand up. Ahmad Wilson's interception stopped Lafayette's only drive into Georgetown territory in the third quarter and Jeffrey Kordenbrock's missed field goal ended the Leopards' only potential scoring drive in the fourth. Johnson was 21-of-36 passing for 160 yards with the two touchdowns and one interception. He was Georgetown's leading rusher with 35 yards on eight carries. Lafayette's Jaden Sutton had 100 yards rushing on four carries, his 86-yard run giving the Leopards (0-7, 0-1) their only touchdown. - AP College Football
