  SEPT 27 OVC CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Keon Howard, QB, 6-1, 215, Grad., Laurel, Miss., UT Martin,...Howard accounted for 295 yards of total offense and three touchdowns as UT Martin topped No. 9 Jacksonville State 34-31, marking the Skyhawks first win in Jacksonville since 1987. It was UTM's first win over a Top 10 team since Sept. 14, 2013 (No. 7 Central Arkansas). Howard completed 19-of-24 passes for 255 yards and touchdown strikes of 14, 4 and 4 yards, all of which came in a 8:59 stretch late in the second half that saw the Skyhawks turn a 24-13 deficit into a 34-24 lead. Howard also carried the ball six times for 40 yards, including a four-yard scamper on 3rd and 3 to ice the game on the final drive of the game. Howard ranks fourth nationally in rushing touchdowns (5), sixth in points responsible for (72), eighth in total touchdowns (5), 21st in passing touchdowns (7) and 29th in total offense (260.0 yards/game).
