  03/04/20 - WR Khalil ShakirJr/2022, Boise State, 6-0, 190 (DS#25 WR) + More +

Shakir led Boise State last season with 63 receptions and finished second on the team and No. 10 in the conference with 872 receiving yards. He also rushed for three touchdowns and threw his first career touchdown pass. He'll touch the ball as much as possible again in 2020, he should benefit from the growth of quarterback Hank Bachmeier and running back George Holani, both of whom are sophomores, and he'll likely step in for John Hightower as Boise State's big-play threat. - Idaho Statesman

  12/13/19 - WR Khalil ShakirJr/2022, Boise State, 6-0, 190 (DS#25 WR) + More +

2019 ALL-MOUNTAIN WEST HONORABLE MENTION (COACHES): Khalil Shakir, So., WR,,...Shakir emerged from a deep and crowded Boise State receiving corps to lead the Broncos with 53 receptions in 2019, and rank second in receiving yards (745) and touchdown catches (five). This season, the sophomore posted a pair of 100-yard games, both in Mountain West play (111 yards and a score at UNLV, 103 yards at Colorado State). Yet it was Shakir's all-around ability which separated him as a true threat with the Bronco offense. He threw for a two-yard touchdown Nov. 16 at New Mexico, and, on the season, rushed 15 times for 61 yards and two more touchdowns. For the year, Shakir, with his hands, arm, and legs, has contributed to nine Boise State touchdowns. - Boise State Football
