  2019 PRESEASON WUERFFEL TROPHY WATCH LIST: Jon Wassink, Western Michigan, Senior, QB,...Wassink is added to the long-line of student-athletes that have excelled on the field and in the community for the Broncos, joining Jamauri Bogan, Zach Terrell and 2009 Wuerffel Trophy winner Tim Hiller. The Grand Rapids, Mich., native threw for a career-high 1,994 yards and 16 touchdowns before suffering a season-ending injury. Wassink has been a fixture of the football team's various community service projects throughout his career.   2019 PRESEASON PAUL HORNUNG AWARD WATCH LIST: LeVante Bellamy, Western Michigan,...Bellamy is one of WMU's most versatile players. The Indianapolis, Ind., native rushed for a career-high 1,228 yards last season and caught a career-high 30 passes out of the backfield. Bellamy also has been called on to return kicks at times, combining for 1,668 all-purpose yards last season. This is the third watch list that Bellamy has been named to this preseason. Juriga, who is also a two-time Academic All-MAC selection, was also a Second Team All-MAC selection in 2017.   2019 PRESEASON BILETNIKOFF AWARD WATCH LIST: D'Wayne Eskridge, Western Michigan,...Eskridge racked up a career-high 776 yards receiving and led the Broncos in receiving yards per game at 70.5 and yards per catch at 20.4. The Bluffton, Ind., native also caught three touchdown passes and had the team's longest play from scrimmage, an 84-yard reception. The Loveland, Ohio native was named Third Team All-MAC after catching 35 passes for 392 yards and three touchdowns. Ricci also helped block for the 33rd-best rushing attack in the nation.
