  Seth Morgan hit a 27-yard field goal with 12 seconds remaining as Tulsa rallied from an 11-point deficit to defeat Army 26-25 on Saturday. Baylor Hayes completed 20 of his 31 passes for 267 yards and one touchdown for the Golden Hurricane (4-7, 1-6 American Conference), and Dominic Richardson ran for a career-high 203 yards and a score on 28 carries. Morgan connected on a 48-yarder early in the fourth, and Hayes found Josh Smith for an 8-yard touchdown grab to cut Army's lead, which was once 25-14, to two points. The two-point try failed, but Army turned the ball over on downs on the next drive.

The Black Knights (5-5, 3-4) were led by Cale Hellums' 159 rushing yards and three touchdowns, with all of his scores coming in the first half. He added 64 passing yards on 6-of-10 passing. Ray Coney had 13 total tackles for Tulsa, and Hudson Ball added 10. Lento Smith Jr. had the game's only interception. Tulsa has the edge in the series, 2-1 since 2007.   D.J. McKinney and Jack Layne each scored rushing touchdowns as New Mexico got past Colorado State 20-17 on Saturday. A defensive battle, the first points of the game came from McKinney's 1-yard rush with 6:17 remaining in the first half. Luke Drzewiecki kicked a 45-yard field goal as time ran out in the half to send the Lobos (7-3, 4-2 Mountain West) to the locker rooms with a 10-point lead. Colorado State scored 10 straight points in the third, with Rocky Beers catching a 3-yard touchdown to get points on the board for the Rams (2-8, 1-5). Layne's 12-yard rush gave the Lobos the lead for good, and a 35-yard field goal by Drzewiecki proved to be the winning score. Layne was 13-of-25 passing for 226 yards, and added 23 rushing yards on 10 carries. McKinney led with 52 yards on 17 carries.   Dominic Richardson racked up 166 rushing yards and one touchdown on 27 touches, Ajay Allen added 61 rushing yards and a score on seven carries, and Tulsa defeated Oregon State 31-14 on Saturday. Richardson set a new career-high in rushing yards in his first year with the Golden Hurricane (3-7, 0-6 American Conference). His previous career best was 146 yards on 31 touches against one of his former teams, Oklahoma State, in September.

Brody Foley reeled in seven catches for 95 yards and a touchdown to pace the air attack, and added a five-yard rushing score. Baylor Hayes was 12-of-19 passing for 163 yards and a touchdown. The Beavers (2-9, 1-0 Pac-12) saw true freshman quarterback Tristan Ti'a take over in the fourth quarter, throwing for 141 yards and two touchdowns on 8-of-11 passing.   D.J. McKinney scored twice and Damon Bankston capped the afternoon with a long touchdown run as New Mexico rolled past Utah State 33–14 on Saturday in Mountain West play. McKinney opened the scoring with a 49-yard punt return touchdown and added a 1-yard TD run early in the second quarter to spark a dominant first half. The Lobos (5–3, 2–2) also recorded a safety and got a 41-yard field goal from Luke Drzewiecki before Jack Layne connected with Cade Keith for a 40-yard touchdown, building a 26–7 halftime lead.

Bankston sealed the win in the fourth quarter, breaking free for a 41-yard touchdown run to finish with 84 yards on 13 carries. Layne completed 17 of 22 passes for 183 yards and a score, while Keith caught seven passes for 104 yards. Miles Davis scored on a 64-yard touchdown run in the second quarter, and Bryson Barnes hit Braden Pegan on a 13-yard scoring pass early in the fourth for Utah State (4-4, 2-2). Davis led the Aggies with 110 rushing yards. Pegan had 108 receiving. New Mexico' got an interception from CJ McBean, notched three sacks and held Utah State to 164 passing yards.   D.J. McKinney ran for two touchdowns, Scottre Humphrey added a TD run and New Mexico beat Nevada 24-22 on Saturday night, the Wolf Pack's fifth loss in a row. Jack Layne was 14-of-22 passing for 138 yards with no touchdowns and no interceptions and added 71 yards rushing on eight carries for New Mexico (4-3, 1-2 Mountain West Conference). Humphrey finished with 13 carries for 58 yards. McKinney had 39 yards rushing and caught three passes for 43 yards. McKinney scored on a 2-yard run to cap a 16-play, 75-yard opening drive that made it 7-0 with 7:16 left in the first quarter.

The Lobos went 91 yards in 11 plays to take a 14-3 lead when Humphrey ran for a 1-yard TD with 6:51 remaining until halftime. Nevada (1-6, 0-3), on the opening drive of the second half, failed to convert on a fourth-and-1 when Caleb Ramseur was stopped for no gain at the Wolf Pack 32. Four plays later McKinney ran for a 22-yard score to make 22-12. Luke Drzewiecki capped the scoring with a 29-yard field goal. Ramseur ran for touchdowns of 3 and 4 yards for Nevada.   Dexter Williams II threw for 284 yards and four touchdowns, Coleman Bennett had 73 yards rushing and a 50-yard touchdown reception, and Kennesaw State beat Louisiana Tech 35-7 on Thursday night for its fourth straight victory. Kennesaw State trailed 7-0 midway through the first quarter before scoring 35 straight points. The Owls made a fourth-down stop at the goal line on Louisiana's Tech's final possession. Williams had a touchdown throw in the second, third and fourth quarters. Bennett caught a short pass in the fourth quarter and broke a couple of tackles along the right sideline before racing for a long touchdown to cap the scoring with 4:45 remaining.

Williams found Clayton Coppock from 6-yards out to end a 15-play, 92-yard drive to tie it at 7-all. Jordan Jackson added a 29-yard touchdown reception and Lyndon Ravare had a 7-yard score. Kody Jones and Antonio Stevens each made an interception for Kennesaw State (4-2, 2-0 Conference USA), which is in its second season at the FBS level after starting its football program in 2015. Three Louisiana Tech quarterbacks combined to go 18 of 35 for 168 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions.   Redshirt freshman Baylor Hayes threw for 219 yards and a touchdown and Seth Morgan kicked four field goals to help Tulsa defeat Oklahoma State 19-12 on Friday night for the first time in 27 years. Hayes started his second straight game in place of Kirk Francis and completed 23 of 36 passes without an interception for Tulsa (2-2), which last beat Oklahoma State in 1998. It was the Golden Hurricane's first win in Stillwater since Nov. 3, 1951. Morgan kicked field goals of 27, 38 and 47 yards to give the Golden Hurricane a 16-3 halftime lead. He connected from 47 yards on Tulsa's first drive of the third quarter to make it 19-3.

Oklahoma State (1-2) rallied after that behind Zane Flores, a third-year freshman making his second career start. Flores passed for 214 yards and rushed for 56 and scored on a 5-yard keeper to cut the deficit to 19-9 early in the fourth quarter. Logan Ward's 49-yard field goal with 5:49 left in the quarter made it 19-12. The game ended when the Cowboys' Gavin Freeman was pushed out of bounds at the Tulsa 10-yard line.   Dominic Richardson ran for 142 yards and a touchdown, leading a 263-yard team rushing performance for Tulsa in a dominant 35-7 win over Abilene Christian in a season opener for both teams on Saturday night. Tulsa quarterback Kirk Francis was 20 for 31 with 218 yards and a pair of touchdowns to Brody Foley and Zion Booker. Booker had a team-high six catches for 67 yards. Ajay Allen also turned in 67 yards and a touchdown on nine carries for Tulsa.

The Tulsa defense was led by dominant performances from senior Byron Turner Jr. and junior J'Dan Burnett. The senior turned in three sacks, and his junior counterpart had two. The defense turned in nine tackles for a loss, a forced fumble and an interception. It was the first win of Tre Lamb's Tulsa head coaching tenure after taking the post in December following a 7-5 season as head coach for East Tennessee State. Abilene Christian came in as the No. 16-ranked FCS team. They were led by quarterback Stone Earle, who was 13 for 19 for 130 yards and an interception.   Arkansas State added yet another Power 5 linebacker Sunday afternoon. Kansas linebacker Gavin Potter announced he'll be transferring to Arkansas State. Potter played in four games for the Jayhawks in 2022, logging 73 snaps before deciding to enter the transfer portal in October. He had 3 tackles and 0.5 TFL in his final game against Duke in September. He had his best season in 2021, recording 11 starts and playing in all 12 games. He was third on the team with 78 tackles and added 5 tackles for a loss, 1 sack and a pick-six in the season finale against West Virginia. He had 10 total tackles, 1.5 TFL and a fumble recovery.   University of Tulsa running back Deneric Prince will start preparation for the NFL draft and not use his extra year of eligibility. Prince, whose return to the Hurricane was not expected, announced the decision on Twitter on Thursday. "To my Tulsa family and teammates, I'd like to first thank you for believing in me and allowing me an opportunity to play the game I love," Prince posted. "Thanks for welcoming me in and treating me like family. "To the entire coaching staff, I thank you for preparing me for this level. My time here at Tulsa was truly a blessing." A transfer from Texas A&M, Prince played three seasons at TU and totaled 1,728 yards and 14 touchdowns.
