Kentucky football appears to have found its new transfer wide receiver. Former Virginia Tech wide receiver Tayvion Robinson tweeted Saturday afternoon he had committed to the Wildcats. Robinson quickly deleted the tweet, but a source confirmed he is still expected to sign with Kentucky on Wednesday. The 5-foot-10, 187-pound receiver could serve as a like-for-like replacement for Kentucky wide receiver Wan'Dale Robinson if UK's record holder for catches in a season declares for the NFL draft as expected. Tayvion Robinson led Virginia Tech with 44 catches and five receiving touchdowns this season. He ranked second on the team with 559 receiving yards in the regular season before announcing earlier this month he was entering the transfer portal. - Courier Journal

Will Levis rushed for career highs of four touchdowns and 113 yards, and Kentucky scored on its first four possessions to cruise past rival Louisville 52-21 on Saturday night and win the Governor's Cup for the third consecutive time. Big contributions by his feet and arm helped the Wildcats' junior quarterback outgain Louisville by himself (195-144) by halftime. Levis rushed for TDs of 29 and 7 yards on their first two possessions, then followed Matt Ruffolo's 43-yard field goal with a 5-yard score with 1:53 remaining in the second quarter. He added a 1-yard TD early in the third to put Kentucky (9-3) up 31-7 on the way to topping his previous rushing best of 108 yards against Rutgers on Nov. 30, 2019 while at Penn State.

Levis also completed 14 of 18 passes for 149 yards to outshine Louisville counterpart Malik Cunningham in a matchup of mobile quarterbacks. Cunningham rushed for 2-yard TD to tie the game at 7-apiece and completed 12 of 20 passes for 145 yards before being taken to the dressing room with 10 minutes left. Evan Conley came in and threw an 8-yard TD pass and Maurice Burkley rushed for an 7-yard TD with eight seconds left for the Cardinals (6-6). Chris Rodriguez Jr. rushed 16 times for 121 yards and a 2-yard TD, Kavoisey Smoke added a 13-yard score and La'Vell Wright one from 41 yards. Wan'Dale Robinson caught nine passes for 97 yards. - Kentucky/AP College Football

Too often for No. 24 N.C. State, rival North Carolina has proven to be the thorn in its side - crashing the party in otherwise successful seasons or, more recently, outright embarrassing the Wolfpack in blowouts. Friday night was shaping up to be more of the same, with North Carolina up 30-21 late and playing spoiler as N.C. State looked to keep hopes of an ACC Atlantic Division title alive. Two touchdowns in 26 seconds kept those hopes alive a little longer. Devin Leary threw those two touchdown passes in that short span, with North Carolina State recovering an onside kick in between, to stun North Carolina 34-30.

Leary found Emeka Emezie on a busted coverage for a 64-yard touchdown strike with 1:33 left. The Wolfpack recovered the onside kick, then Leary threw a 24-yard sideline pass to Emezie with 1:09 remaining. "What a football game," Wolfpack coach Dave Doeren said. "What a game. That's why you play until the last second's off the clock." N.C. State (9-3, 6-2) beat North Carolina (6-6, 3-5) for the first time since 2018 to remain in contention for a trip to the conference championship game. It also officially eliminated six-time reigning league champion Clemson from the Atlantic Division race. The Wolfpack would reach the title game if No. 21 Wake Forest loses at Boston College on Saturday, creating a three-way tie atop the division that would favor N.C. State by virtue of its division record and head-to-head win over Clemson. Leary finished with 247 passing yards and four touchdowns. - N.C. State/AP College Football

Devin Leary threw for two touchdowns, Zonovan Knight returned a kickoff for a touchdown and No. 25 North Carolina State beat Syracuse 41-17 on Saturday to keep its hopes alive for an Atlantic Coast Conference championship. After neither team scored in the first 22 minutes, the Wolfpack scored touchdowns on offense, defense and special teams in a matter of less than 3 1/2 minutes. It was all part of N.C. State's 28-point burst in the last 6:14 of the first half.

By the time the game began, N.C. State (8-3, 5-2, No. 20 CFP) had retained a shot at reaching the ACC championship game because Atlantic Division-leading Wake Forest lost at Clemson. In order to go to Charlotte for the league title game Dec. 4, the Wolfpack must defeat North Carolina on Friday followed by a Wake Forest loss the next day at Boston College. Syracuse (5-6, 2-5), which was blown out a week earlier at Louisville, needs to beat Pittsburgh next week at home to secure bowl eligibility. Freshman running back Sean Tucker became Syracuse's single-season rushing leader, passing Joe Morris with a second-quarter carry. Morris set the mark with 1,372 yards in 1979. Tucker, who entered the week second nationally in rushing, has 1,471 yards this year after posting 109 yards on 14 carries Saturday. Leary threw for 303 yards by completing 17 of 24 passes. - North Carolina State/AP College Football

Will Levis overcame an early fumble to throw for four touchdowns and 419 yards as Kentucky cruised past New Mexico State 56-16 in Saturday's home finale. The Wildcats (8-3) earned their 14th consecutive nonconference victory behind Levis, who completed 21 of 31 passes to become the first Kentucky quarterback to surpass 400 yards since Andre Woodson against Tennessee in 2007. Things didn't start so well for the junior QB, who couldn't corral a high snap on the first series and fumbled, which Trevor Brohard ultimately returned 25 yards to give the Aggies a 7-0 lead.

Kentucky outscored NMSU 56-9 from there, including Quandre Mosley's 38-yard interception return to make it 14-7. Levis threw touchdown passes of 32 and 2 yards to Justin Riggs and 9 and 62 yards to Josh Ali. Wan'dale Robinson had eight receptions for 181 yards and became Kentucky's first 1,000-yard receiver under coach Mark Stoops. Chris Rodriguez Jr. overcame a fumble inside the Aggies' 5 to rush for 119 yards on 16 carries and a touchdown as the Wildcats rolled up a season-high 707 yards. The Aggies (1-10) did move the ball effectively at times, but settled for three Ethan Albertson field goals before halftime. New Mexico State managed just 282 yards. - Kentucky/AP College Football
