  12/31/20 - Myron CunninghamrSr/2022, Arkansas, 6-6, 322 (DS#26 OT) + More +

Senior offensive tackle Myron Cunningham - who said Monday he was returning for a senior season, his third at Arkansas - had applied for feedback from the NFL Draft Advisory Board. "It was kind of a stressful process," Cunningham said. "But the feedback I got from the NFL was probably like mid-to-late draft, so I just felt like it's in my best interest to come back and try to increase my draft stock next year." He was asked what advice he was given to improve himself for the 2022 NFL Draft.

"One of them is just working on, obviously I put on this weight, and just another year showing them I can move well and fluid with it," he said. He said position coach Brad Davis and Coach Sam Pittman, both considered offensive line gurus, can help him with the finer points and knowledge of the game. "This year they came with the whole O-line, not just me, more than we've learned in the past, and I think it has just been a great aspect to us," he said. - Northwest Arkansas Times

  12/30/20 - DeVion WarrenrSr/2022, Arkansas, 5-11, 182 (DS#99 WR) + More +

The Razorbacks also added to their pool of seniors who plan to return in 2021, thanks to the extra year of eligibility being granted by the NCAA. Receivers De'Vion Warren and T.J. Hammonds, and tight end Blake Kern revealed on Monday their plans for returning next season. Their announcements bring the number of current seniors who have committed to returning next season to six. The returning seniors do not count against the maximum of 85 scholarships allowed by the NCAA. Linebacker Grant Morgan, and offensive linemen Myron Cunningham and Ty Clary previously had announced their intentions of putting in another year for the Razorbacks.

"We're still working on a guy or two, so we'll see how good of recruiters we are," Pittman said prior to the announcements by Kern and Hammonds. Cunningham, a 10-game starter at left tackle, said his NFL Draft advisory response pegged him for a mid- to late-round selection for the upcoming draft, so he wanted to return to have a run at improving his stock. "I think it just says the culture we've started to build here is a good one," Cunningham said. "The fact everyone is deciding to come back is just a positive aspect and it's showing." - Northwest Arkansas Times

Arkansas receiver Jaquayln Crawford will be eligible to play against TCU in the Texas Bowl on Thursday, Razorbacks coach Sam Pittman said Monday. Crawford was sitting out the 2020 season due to NCAA transfer rules, but an NCAA change earlier this month allows immediate eligibility to any player who was enrolled at his or her current school for the fall semester. Arkansas requested a waiver for Crawford's immediate eligibility and was approved by the NCAA. Crawford transferred to Arkansas earlier this year after spending two seasons at Oklahoma. Crawford did not record any statistics in two games played with the Sooners. - Northwest Arkansas Times
