Roen McCullough, Ohio State, Player News

Ohio State football will enter the season with no experienced depth at long snapper. As first reported by Bucknuts, Roen McCullough is no longer with the program. An Ohio State spokesperson said the junior from nearby Worthington Kilbourne suffered "a pre-camp injury unrelated to football" and quit the team. McCullough later posted on Twitter that he has medically retired from football. He said after being diagnosed with a "rare heart condition" in late 2020 he was cleared to return for the spring game. He played linebacker that day due to Ohio State's lack of numbers at the position. - Cleveland Plain Dealer
