Rodney Groce Jr., Texas-San Antonio, Player News

Six months after he announced his transfer to Arizona State, linebacker Rodney Groce is on the move again. Groce entered his name in the NCAA Transfer Portal on Sunday. Groce is a former three-star recruit who hails from Pleasant Grove, Alabama. He ranked as the No. 519 overall prospect and the 35th best linebacker in the 2020 class according to On3 Consensus. Despite this, he failed to make an impression in his first two years, appearing in just one game without recording any stats. This prompted him to enter the portal, and on Dec. 6 he announced that he would join Arizona State. Apparently that didn't work out the way he planned, and he is set to join his third school in as many years. -
