2019 MOUNTAIN EAST CONFERENCE DEFENSIVE FRESHMAN OF THE YEAR (COACHES): Bryce Sheppert (Notre Dame),...Sheppert, a native of Stow, Ohio, is the Defensive Freshman of the Year playing in the secondary for the Falcons. He finished the year with 38 tackles (27 solo), and came up with three interceptions on the year.
