  2019 ALL-RMAC FIRST TEAM (COACHES): James Maxie, Sr., OLB, CSU-Pueblo,...D2CCA First Team All-American...D2CCA All-Super Region 4 First Team...All-RMAC First Team...All-NFFCC First Team...Named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week three times (Oct. 7, Oct. 14, Nov. 4) and D2Football.com Defensive Player of the Week once (Oct. 8)...Started all 13 games at outside linebacker...Led the team, ranked 2nd in the RMAC and T-19th nationally with 107 tackles (45 solo)...Racked up 17.5 tackles for loss (-74 yards) to sit 2nd on the team, 4th in the conference and T-20th in Division II...Totaled 8.5 sacks (-53 yards) to finished 3rd on the team and T-7th in the league...Added three fumble recoveries (T-1st in the RMAC) and two pass breakups.

  NOV 4 RMAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: James Maxie of CSU-Pueblo has been named RMAC Defensive Player of the week. He continued to lead the ThunderWolves defense, as he compiled 11 tackles (two solo) with 1.5 tackles for loss (-2 yards) in the 21-13 road win at Fort Lewis. His 11th tackle was for no gain on a third down, as FLC was at midfield in the final minute of the game. - Rocky Mountain Football

  OCT 14 RMAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: James Maxie of CSU-Pueblo has been named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week. He again led the ThunderWolves defense in the 31-14 road win at New Mexico Highlands with eight tackles (five solo), which included 2.5 tackles for loss (-20 yards), a sack (-14 yards) and a fumble recovery. After the Maxie fumble recovery, the ThunderWolves went 22 yards in five plays to push the lead to 21-0 in the second quarter. The Pack defense totaled five turnovers, 15 tackles for loss and six sacks in the victory. - Rocky Mountain Football

  OCT 7 RMAC DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: James Maxie of CSU-Pueblo has been named RMAC Defensive Player of the Week. He led the defense in the 21-13 road win at South Dakota Mines, as he had a day with 17 tackles (eight solo), 6.5 tackles for loss (-27 yards) and 4.5 sacks (-24 yards). The 17 tackles tied the program record, set by Lee Meisner versus Chadron State College on Oct. 2, 2010. The 17 tackles are the second most in the RMAC this season and tied for 12th in NCAA Division II in 2019. The 6.5 tackles for loss are the most in NCAA Division II this season, a new program record and ranks third all-time in the RMAC. The sack total is the second most in the RMAC this season and was half sack away from a program record. - Rocky Mountain Football
