TK McLendon Jr., Eastern Kentucky, Player News

LSU defensive end TK McLendon has entered the NCAA transfer portal, according to multiple reports. The 6-foot-3, 269-pound junior was once thought to contend for a starting position, and McLendon's brief career in Baton Rouge could come to an end. The news was first reported by AL.com. McLendon transferred to LSU from Copiah-Lincoln Community College as a tight end before the 2019 season, and he moved to the defensive side after catching one pass for 12 yards last year. LSU entered the 2020 offseason with considerable depth at tight end, and McLendon was thought to make an immediate impact on the defensive line. - Baton Rouge Advocate
