2021 ALL-AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE FIRST TEAM (COACHES): OG Dylan Parham, Memphis, Sr.,...Parham established himself as one of the best offensive linemen not only in the AAC, but in the nation in 2021, earning first-team accolades. He started all 12 games for the Tigers at right guard, not allowing a single sack in 545 pass protection snaps. In total, Parham only allowed two quarterback hits on the year. - Memphis Football

Three years ago, Dylan Parham was settling into his first season on the Memphis offensive line after being recruited at tight end. Now he's the most tenured member of the group. Parham is still getting used to being a veteran voice instead of learning from past linemen like Drew Kyser or Dustin Woodard. "I'm definitely just trying to learn how to take the lead role. Use what the older guys taught me in the past and just plan on being more vocal," Parham said this spring. "That's a goal for me this year. Displaying how to be a leader and be more open." The junior is moving to right guard after starting at right tackle last season. It's another part of the changing Tigers offensive line that added three transfers, including left tackle Devontae Dobbs. But if the Tigers' line play improves this season, Parham - the only guaranteed starter, per coach Ryan Silverfield - will be a key reason why.

Parham started at left guard from 2018-19 before moving to tackle and now is back as an interior lineman. With 39 games under his belt, he's the anchor the Tigers will rebuild the line around with at least three new starters. The shakeup is needed after Memphis was the third-worst rushing team in the AAC last season (145.18 yards per game). Parham also added more weight, going from 285 pounds last season to 304 this spring. The added weight fits the Tigers' plan to be more physical this season under second-year offensive line coach Jim Bridge. - Memphis Commercial Appeal

2020 OUTLAND TROPHY PRESEASON WATCH LIST: C Dylan Parham, Memphis,...Parham, a native of Carrollton, Georgia has started all of the team's 28 games during the past two seasons. He helped the 2019 Memphis offense amass 6,791 total yards, including 2,614 rushing yards. Memphis won a third straight American Athletic Conference West Division title and its first outright AAC championship with a 12-2 mark. The program made its first New Year's Six bowl appearance with an invite to the Goodyear Cotton Bowl. An all-conference honorable mention honoree in 2019, Parham will move to center for 2020, replacing New England Patriots' draftee Dustin Woodard. Like Woodard, Parham will be making the move to center from a guard position. - Memphis Football

2019 ALL-AMERICAN ATHLETIC CONFERENCE HONORABLE MENTION (COACHES): OG Dylan Parham, Memphis, So.,...One of only two returning starters on the offensive line from a year ago, Parham has started in all 12 games at left guard for the Tigers this season. Parham has played in every snap in five of Memphis' 12 games this season and has blocked for one of the top five offenses in program history. The Tigers have recorded 5,802 yards of total offense with 498 points scored this season. Memphis currently ranks 11th nationally in total yards and eighth in scoring offense. In program history, the Tigers have only recorded over 6,000 yards of total offense and scored 500 points five times. - Memphis Football
