Louisville's depth at outside linebacker, specifically at its "DOG" position, is going to a be a strength of the defense. Yasir Abdullah is due for a big season, Okeke will back him up, but you also have Kameron Wilson. Abdullah will likely start, but Ok eke is going to get a lot of snaps this season backing him up. The 6-foot-3 and 240-pound linebacker has had a good offseason and the coaching staff is excited about the tandem of Abdullah and Okeke this season. It's important to note that this offseason the staff mentioned how versatile Okeke was so there's a chance you see him moved around the linebacker corps as well. He had 30 tackles and two tackles for a loss last season. Coming off that season, into his redshirt junior year, Okeke looks poised to improve. If so, he'll be crucial to how much Louisville's defense improves, again, under defensive coordinator Bryan Brown. - Courier Journal
