  Offensive lineman Marcus Minor, who verbally committed to Pitt last week, officially joined the team Tuesday when he signed his scholarship papers. Minor, who played the past four seasons at Maryland, will participate in spring drills with two years of immediate eligibility. Minor, 6-foot-4, 310 pounds, started 17 games at Maryland, playing guard and tackle. In high school at DeMatha Catholic, he earned all-state honors in Maryland and league honors in the All-Washington Catholic Athletic Conference. - Pittsburgh Post Gazette

  Pitt coach Pat Narduzzi didn't wait long to start reconstructing his roster, landing offensive lineman Marcus Minor on Thursday as a graduate transfer from Maryland. Minor, who has two years of eligibility, reported his verbal commitment on Twitter. Minor, 6-foot-4, 310 pounds, has played right tackle and right guard at Maryland. He played guard this season, but he was the Terrapins starting right tackle for 10 games in 2019. He also started one game in 2017 and three in 2018. - Pittsburgh Tribune-Review
