  2022 PRESEASON STATS PERFORM FCS SECOND TEAM ALL-AMERICAN: OL - Kyle Nunez, 6-2, 340, grad, Stony Brook,...Nunez adds the Stats Perform All-America Second Team honor to his resume after being selected to the CAA Football Preseason All-Conference Team. Last season, the offensive lineman helped lead the Seawolves to 10 100-plus yard rushing performances and as a result was selected to the All-CAA Second Team. The Seawolves ran for 200 yards or more in three games in 2021 and racked up a season-high 321 rushing yards in the 36-14 win over UAlbany to reclaim the Golden Apple in the season finale. The East Islip native helped the running game average 176.1 yards per game, the second-most in the CAA last season and the Seawolves rushed for 19 touchdowns as a team, which were tied for the second-most in the conference. - Stony Brook Football

Last season, he helped lead the Seawolves to 10 100-plus yard rushing performances and as a result was selected to the All-CAA Second Team. The Seawolves ran for 200 yards or more in three games in 2021 and racked up a season-high 321 rushing yards in the 36-14 win over UAlbany to reclaim the Golden Apple in the season finale. He has been tabbed to an All-CAA team four years in a row and last season marked the third time that he claimed Second Team honors. He has been tabbed to an All-CAA team four years in a row and it marks the third time that he claimed Second Team honors. He was named to the HERO Sports Preseason All-America team in May. Nunez earned second-team All-CAA Football honors following the 2019 campaign after he started all 12 games for the Seawolves. He helped anchor the offensive line as the right guard. The line surrendered only 17 sacks in more than 330 passing attempts and paved the way for Stony Brook backs to average 201.2 rushing yards per game.
