  Erroll Thompson's long Mississippi State career is over. The senior linebacker has chosen to forego the extra year of eligibility the NCAA granted all seniors who played during a season heavily impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic to enter to 2021 NFL Draft. Thompson announced his decision via Twitter. Thompson led Mississippi State with a career-high 95 tackles in 2020. He totaled 312 in his career with 23.0 for loss and 10.0 sacks.
