Solomon Tuliaupupu, Southern California, Player News

Rush defensive end Solomon Tuliaupupu took the first steps towards stepping into his new position on the defensive line and by all accounts they were positive ones at that. Tuliaupupu was a four-star commit out of the ‘18 recruiting class who finished as the No. 86 overall player after his Santa Ana (CA) Mater Dei career came to a close. Tuliaupupu, whose college career began sidelined with a foot injury and has since been derailed pretty much every season after that by more foot and knee injuries, is back to play for defensive line coach Shaun Nua in the Year One of the Lincoln Riley Era. Nua had positive things to say about Tuliaupupu's transition and outlook during the spring. "There's no one that has true USC blood more than Solomon. He loves this place and he's been through a lot. But you see the skill set and he's exactly where he belongs now. And he's shown me some very, very good stuff," Nua told USCFootball.com. - USCFootball.com
