He scored on runs of 57, 75 and 2 yards, and also took a screen pass 50 yards to the house. Guerriero averaged 7.3 yards per rush and finished with 303 all-purpose yards.   NOV 18 STATS FCS NATIONAL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Pete Guerriero, Monmouth, RB, R-Jr., 5-10, 190, Lyndhurt, New Jersey,...Guerriero racked up 303 yards from scrimmage and scored four touchdowns as Monmouth beat Campbell 47-10 to clinch the Big South's automatic bid to the FCS playoffs and at least a share of the conference title for the first time. He carried the ball 30 times for a career-high 237 yards, scoring on runs of 57, 2 and 75 yards. He also had three receptions for 66 yards, including a 50-yard score.

  Pete Guerriero rushed for 237 yards and three touchdowns and he added three catches for 66 yards and a score as Monmouth overpowered Campbell 47-10 on Saturday. Campbell jumped out to a 7-0 lead on Bryant Barr's 7-yard TD run, but it was all Hawks (9-2, 5-0 Big South Conference) after that. Guerriero put Monmouth ahead for good when he raced 57 yards for a score on first down, giving the Hawks a 10-7 lead. Kenji Bahar hit Lonnie Moore IV for a 36-yard score and a 17-7 lead. Colin Gary's 37-yard field goal pulled the Fighting Camels (6-4, 3-2) within 17-10 at halftime.

Guerriero didn't let up in the second half - scoring on runs of 2 and 75 yards - and adding a 50-yard TD catch from Bahar as the Hawks put the game out of reach. Behar finished 11-of-20 passing for 205 yards and two scores. Monmouth piled up 538 yards of offense, while holding Campbell to 277. The redshirt freshman averaged 7.5 yards per pass attempt and used his legs to total 21 yards on the ground. McCray, who threw for six first downs, logged his first career touchdown pass on the final play of a 61-yard drive early in the fourth quarter.   2019 WALTER PAYTON AWARD WATCHLIST ADDITION: RB Pete Guerriero, Monmouth,...Guerriero is currently second in the NCAA in total rushing yards with an already career-high 1,099 through nine games. He has churned out five 100-yard performances and his 122.1 rushing yards per game is fourth in the NCAA. Guerriero ranks in the top 20 in a number of categories including rushing touchdowns, yards per carry and all-purpose yards. The Lyndhurst, NJ native currently ranks second in Monmouth history in rushing with 3,078 yards while his 26 career touchdowns is sixth all-time.

He also ranks second in school history with 16 100+ yard rushing games and his 221 yards rushing against Charleston Southern is the fourth most in a single game for a Hawk. His career mark of rushing yards per game is third among active players while his 3,078 is fourth.   Kenji Bahar threw five touchdown passes and became Monmouth's all-time TD passing leader in a 49-38 win over North Alabama on Saturday. Bahar threw for 319 yards and completed 27-of-36 passing attempts. Quentin Parham and Lonnie Moore IV each caught a pair of touchdowns and Terrance Greene Jr. caught one to go along with 125 receiving yards with nine receptions. Bahar entered the game with 57 scoring passes and was one behind previous record holder Brian Boland. Bahar owns six Monmouth passing records, and with his next game played will tie Boland in that department with 44.

The Hawks (8-2, 4-0 Big South) led 14-7 at halftime and took control in the third. Devell Jones scored on 3-yard TD run to open the second half. Following a North Alabama (3-6 Independent) field goal, Bahar connected with Parham on a 61-yard scoring pass and Moore on a 21-yarder.   Owen Wright ran into the end zone in the fifth overtime to give William & Mary a 31-29 victory over Elon in a wild finish on Saturday. In the final OT, quarterback Hollis Mathis ran the ball then pitched it to Wright, who ran untouched to complete the 2-point play. Elon's Davis Cheek threw an incomplete pass to Cole Taylor in the end zone to end the game. The teams were scoreless in the first, second and fourth overtimes. Each scored a touchdown and missed the 2-point conversion in the third extra period. Wright ran for 113 yards and a touchdown, and Mathis threw for 176 yards and a score. Donavyn Lester added a pair of touchdown runs for the Tribe (3-6, 1-4 Colonial Athletic Association), who committed a turnover and missed two field goals in the extra periods. Skyler Davis made three second half field goals for Elon (4-5, 3-3 Colonial Athletic Association), but missed three attempts in the extra periods.   Kenji Bahar threw for 332 yards and a touchdown, scored on a 65-yard run and Monmouth shocked Kennesaw State 45-21 on Saturday in a showdown of teams with perfect Big South Conference records. The Hawks scored 42 unanswered points on six possessions to defeat the the No. 5 FCS team, their first win in five games in the series. Monmouth (7-2, 4-0), was trailing 7-3 before Devell Jones scored on a pair of short touchdown runs. Peter Guerriero followed with a 10-yard scoring run before Tymere Berry's 41-yard interception return with a minute left in the first half made it 31-7.

Bahar and Zach Tredway then hooked up on a 92-yard catch-and-run before Bahar's big run. Bahar finished with 92 yards rushing on just six carries and completed 20 of 27 passes. Guerriero, who entered the game as the first FCS back over 1,000 yards, finished with 77 on 21 carries. Tredway had 162 yards on seven receptions. While the Hawks piled up 517 yards, the Owls (7-2, 2-1) had 407, but 110 came on two big touchdown plays after they trailed 45-7. Kennesaw State's two quarterbacks were 2-of-15 passing for 55 yards while the 50-yard touchdown pass went from halfback Bronson Rechsteiner to Shaquil Terry. - AP College Football

Almost half his yardage total occurred on two plays, one a 63-yard jaunt and the other a 42-yard touchdown run with 5:08 left to play that put the Hawks (6-2, 3-0 Big South) up 35-6. Monmouth led 14-6 at intermission and two third quarter scores sealed the win. Devell Jones scored on a 4-yard run to end a seven-play, 88-yard drive. Near the end of the third, Bahar threw an 8-yard scoring pass to Shawn Clark. Bahar finished with 194 yards passing. Bahar was 20-of-26 passing for 327 yards for the Hawks (5-2, 2-0 Big South Conference). Pete Guerriero ran for 186 yards and two touchdowns and Devell Jones also rushed for a pair of scores. Monmouth outgained the Runnin' Bulldogs 599-360 yards. Bahar capped the Hawks' 10-play, 81-yard opening drive with a 42-yard touchdown throw to Terrance Greene. Greene pulled down a 22-yard scoring pass from Bahar late in the second quarter and Jones ran for a touchdown just before the break and the Hawks were up 21-7 at halftime. Guerriero broke for touchdown runs of 58 and 65 yards in the third, giving Monmouth a 42-21 advantage with 4:28 left in the quarter.
