  2021 ALL-MIAA FIRST-TEAM (COACHES): Defensive Line - Michael Slater - Central Oklahoma,...Slater, from St. Louis, Missouri, starred for the Bronchos on the defensive front this fall. He made 40 total tackles (27 solo and 13 assisted) and was the league leader in tackles for a loss. Slater made a stop in the backfield in 90 percent of the games this season. He had a season-high 2.5 tackles for a loss in the 2021 season finale last week. He also had 3.5 sacks, one forced fumble, one fumble recovery, one quarterback hurry, and two passes broken up in 10 games played. - Central Oklahoma Football

  2021 ALL-MIAA THIRD-TEAM (COACHES): Defensive Line - Noah West - Central Oklahoma,...West, who came to UCO from Army and is a Bixby, Oklahoma native, spent his freshman season opposite of Slater intimidating opposing offenses all season. He made 24 tackles (nine solo) and had two stops behind the line of scrimmage. West also had 1.5 sacks and forced a fumble.   2021 ALL-MIAA THIRD-TEAM (COACHES): Tight End - Daunte McGee - Central Oklahoma,...McGee, a fifth-year senior from Yukon, Oklahoma, played in all 11 games this season and had his best year as a tight end. He made 28 receptions for a total of 245 yards and one touchdown. McGee caught a pass in 9 of 11 games. He made a season-high five catches twice, Week 4 at Northwest Missouri and Week 11 at Central Missouri. He had a season-high 60 yards receiving against Nebraska Kearney. - Central Oklahoma Football

  2021 ALL-MIAA SECOND-TEAM (COACHES): Defensive Back - Dylan Buccheit - Central Oklahoma,...Buchheit played in all 11 games as a sophomore this fall and the Moore, Oklahoma native was everywhere in every game. He led the team with 91 tackles, recording at least 10 tackles in 6 of 11 games this fall. Buchheit had a season-high 13 at Northwest Missouri in September. He also had a team-high three interceptions for the Bronchos, returning one for a touchdown at Northeastern State in October.   2021 ALL-MIAA SECOND-TEAM (COACHES): Offensive Line - Seth Carmack - Central Oklahoma,...Carmack, a fifth-year senior from Yukon, Oklahoma, played in 9 of 11 games and started each of those at left guard. After taking over the starting job at that position during his redshirt freshman season in 2018, Carmack never relinquished it. He helped the Bronchos to an average of 350 yards per game and paved the way for 37 total touchdowns. Central had 26 rushing touchdowns this fall thanks in part to Carmack's leadership up front. - Central Oklahoma Football

  2021 ALL-MIAA HONORABLE MENTION (COACHES): Elijah Wright - LB,...Wright, a second-year freshman from Vian, Oklahoma, was second on the team with 65 tackles this fall. He made at least three tackles in every game this season and had a season-high 11 tackles against Nebraska Kearney in Week 10.   2021 ALL-MIAA HONORABLE MENTION (COACHES): Alex Quevedo,...Quevedo, a fifth-year senior from Azle, Texas, continued his career-long climb up the Central charts. He went 8-for-12 on field goals and 23-for-24 on extra points, adding one touchdown on a fake field goal for a total of 53 points – the second-most of any Bronchos this fall. Quevedo moved up to No. 5 on UCO's all-time scoring list this season. He finished his career with 171 career points (153 PATs, 36 FGs, and one TD). - Central Oklahoma Football

The offensive lineman from Yukon, Okla. also earned Second Team All-MIAA last season. He's the seventh offensive lineman to earn All-MIAA honors under Bobeck and is the third to do so twice. Brown made 32 tackles and had a team-high 8.5 behind the line of scrimmage. He also led the team with 6.5 sacks, which ranked fifth in the MIAA. One of Brown's sacks against Missouri Southern also resulted in a fumble that he recovered himself and ran into the end zone for a score.
