  SEPT 30/WEEK 5 BIG SKY DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Northern Colorado cornerback Michael Walker recorded two game-changing interceptions in the game, as he played a critical role in the team's first win of the season over Idaho. Both of Walker's interceptions came in the red zone to help UNC's defense shut down Idaho's offense. Walker's first interception came on the 10-yard line with Idaho up by 10 with 51 seconds left in the first half, as he returned it eight yards. Walker's second interception came in the endzone in the third quarter with the Vandals up by a touchdown with 4:05 to go in the third quarter. He became the first Bear since 2013 with a multiple interception game. He added in six tackles in the victory.
