The redshirt senior completed 20-of-29 passes for 249 yards and two scores and rushed 13 times for a career-high 104 yards (8.0 ypc) and another touchdown. On the Lions second play of the game, he connected with Rico Bond for a 30-yard touchdown and after rushing for a seven-yarder midway through the second quarter, he connected with Bond on a 34-yarder just before halftime.
