  2022 PRESEASON MAXWELL AWARD WATCH LIST: Brett Gabbert, Miami (OH),...Yes, Brett is the younger brother of former Missouri and current NFL quarterback Blaine Gabbert. But he must make it on his own, so last year he finally had significant exposure by starting ten games. The 6-0, 1909-pound quarterback finished the year with 2,648 yards and 26 touchdowns while throwing just six interceptions. He threw for 492 yards (third-most in school history) and five touchdowns at Ohio. He completed 21-of-28 passes for 351 yards and four touchdowns in a win over Buffalo. His 843 yards passing in back-to-back games (vs. Ohio and Buffalo) were the most passing yards in school history in a two-game span. Threw at least one touchdown in every game. - Miami (OH) Football
