A search continues for the suspects in early-morning shootings Saturday that left two Central Michigan University students injured, one of them a backup quarterback on the Chippewa football team. Investigators are poring over tips, witness accounts, social media posts and a few videos from the scene of the shootings, which occurred just before 1 a.m. Saturday at Deerfield Village Apartments in Union Township, said Isabella County Sheriff Mike Main. Family members have identified the most seriously injured victim as John Keller, a transfer quarterback from Ohio on the CMU football team. Keller, 20, was shot once in the chest and initially listed in critical condition after being flown by medical helicopter to Hurley Medical Center in Flint. - Morning Sun
