Marcus Williamson waited four seasons to finally break into the Ohio State football rotation in the secondary. The senior decided to take that breakthrough and roll it into a fifth season. Williamson said Wednesday he plans to return for 2021, taking advantage of an NCAA decision that no eligibility would accrue for the 2020 season. That ruling was made in anticipation of potential disruptions due to the coronavirus pandemic. Williamson opened the season as Ohio State's starting slot cornerback and held that role throughout the season. Entering Monday's national championship game against Alabama, he ranks fourth on the Buckeyes with 25 tackles and has a pair of pass breakups. - Cleveland Plain Dealer
