Friday's game against Appalachian State did not start well for Louisiana Ragin' Cajuns long snapper Paul Boudreaux, and his struggles continued throughout the game. It didn't ultimately prevent Louisiana from winning as the Ragin' Cajuns defeated Appalachian State 24-21. At the end of the first UL possession, he sent a snap over the head of UL punter Rhys Byrns with 10:24 left in the first quarter. Boudreaux sent a second snap over Byrns on the second Ragin' Cajuns possession. The second one went for a 38-yard loss to the Louisiana 22-yard line with 1:44 left in the first quarter.

Another bad snap occurred on the extra point after UL scored a touchdown with 6:25 left in the second quarter, and Louisiana didn't get the kick off. Then with 6:36 left in the fourth quarter, Boudreaux sent a third snap over the head of Byrns. It led to a safety when Byrns was forced to kick the ball out of the back of the end zone to prevent an Appalachian State touchdown. The safety cut the Louisiana lead to 24-19. Twitter roasted Boudreaux for his early struggles. - Daily Advertiser
