  Draft Scout by Conference

A day after competing in Oklahoma State's Pro Day, former Cowboy quarterback Dru Brown is officially a pro. Brown's football journey that has taken him from a Northern California junior college to Hawaii to Stillwater is now taking him north of the border. He signed with the Winnipeg Blue Bombers of the Canadian Football League on Wednesday. Unecruited out of high school in Los Gatos, California, Brown has worked hard every step of his career to get to this point. "I'm not really supposed to be here, but it's a product of the work I put in," he said after Tuesday's Pro Day workout. "No one can take it away from me." Brown played in seven games, starting three, last season for the Cowboys. He completed 72 of 107 passes (67.3 percent) for 810 yards with seven touchdowns and one interception. Winnipeg is located in the southern portion of central Canada, roughly 2,000 miles from Brown's hometown of San Mateo, California. - Daily Oklahoman
