Gianini Belizaire, Indiana State, Player News

NOV 14 MISSOURI VALLEY PLATER OF THE WEEK NOMINEE: DL Gianini Belizaire, Indiana State - Belizaire and the Sycamore defense bottled up the Western Illinois offense on Saturday afternoon as Indiana State posted its first shutout since the 2018 season opener. Belizaire finished the game with four tackles, including 2.5 tackles-for-loss and a career-high 1.5 sacks, while adding a forced fumble. The Gonaives, Haiti native was dominant when needed including setting up a 3rd-and-20 in ISU territory to push WIU out of field goal range, while his first half-sack forced a WIU punt. He finished by ending another WIU scoring threat in the fourth quarter with a strip sack on 3rd-and-10 to push the Leathernecks out of field goal range. - Missouri Valley Football
