  Latrell Collier and J'mari Taylor each ran for a pair of touchdowns and North Carolina Central dominated Division II-level Winston-Salem 41-0 on Saturday. Collier ran for 118 yards on 13 carries and Taylor had 16 carries for 65 yards. Davius Richard threw for 200 yards and ran for another for the Eagles (2-0). Chris Mosley also scored on the ground as North Carolina Central carried it 43 times for 260 yards and six scores. Taylor put NC Central on the board with a 5-yard scoring run that ended a nine-play, 80-yard drive with 6:03 left in the first quarter. Collier closed the quarter with a 6-yard scoring run which ended a six-play, 54-yard drive. NC Central outgained the Rams 519-145 in total yardage. - AP College Football

  Latrell Collier ran for two second-half touchdowns, including a 51-yarder early in the fourth quarter, as North Carolina Central ran past Howard, 45-27 on Saturday. The Eagles amassed 293 yards on the ground and ran for all six of their touchdowns. Collier led the way with 115 yards on 13 carries. Quinton Williams scored from the 4 to put Howard up 7-0 to start the game and Ian Wheeler punched it over from the 8 to give the Bison a 14-7 lead after one quarter, but NC Central roared back to take a 24-14 lead at the half after Adrian Olivo converted a 24-yards field goal as time expired. Davius Richard ran for two first-half touchdowns, gained 42 yards on six carries and completed 15 of 20 passes for 237 yards. Jorden Freeman raced 23 yards for a score in the second quarter for North Carolina Central (5-5, 3-1 Mid-Eastern). Wheeler ran for two touchdowns for Howard (2-8, 1-4) and Williams added a 19-yard touchdown pass to Antoine Murray from with 1:04 left in the game. - AP College Football

  Latrell Collier rushed for a pair of fourth-quarter touchdowns as North Carolina Central rallied to defeat Division II Winston-Salem State 20-13 in a Saturday night comeback before 10,918 in its first home game in 672 days. Collier burst over the left side from the 2, scoring the game-winner with 1:41 left on the clock. N.C. Central held Winston-Salem without a first down and took over on downs with under a minute left. Four seconds into the fourth quarter, Collier had barreled over the middle from the one to knot the score at 13-13. Winston-Salem had taken a 13-6 lead into the final period on a pair of Jobanni Esparza field goals and a 19-yard touchdown pass from Cameron Lewis to Antjuan Collins. The Eagles previous home game was on Nov. 16, 2019, against S.C. State. - AP College Football
