  2022 PRESEASON CONFERENCE USA SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE YEAR (COACHES): Brayden Narveson, RS Jr., K, WKU,...Narveson returns to WKU as one of the most dynamic kickers in all of college football. The redshirt junior hit on 23-of-29 field goal attempts in 2021 with a long of 53 yards in the Hilltoppers' win over Marshall to clinch Conference USA's East Division Championship. He was also perfect on all his PAT attempts throughout the year, going 72-of-72. Narveson scored the most points by any kicker in the country a season ago with 141. That number was also second-best among all players regardless of position. Narveson's mark of 10.1 points per game was sixth best in the nation, and he finished 13th in the country in field goals per game. His 23 makes tied him for the most in a single season in WKU history. He enters the 2022 season as the most accurate field goal kicker all time at WKU with a clip of 83.7 percent. - Conference USA Football

  2021 ALL-CONFERENCE USA SECOND TEAM (COACHES): K: Brayden Narveson, RS So., WKU,...Narveson has made 22-of-27 field goals this season and 64-of-64 extra points for a total of 130 points scored. The 130 points scored set WKU's single-season program record and led all FBS kickers this year. The Scottsdale, Ariz., native tied a career-long and matched the third-longest field goal in Hilltopper history with a 53-yard make at Marshall. He was 17-of-17 on attempts under 40 yards, with his only five misses being 53, 53, 57 and 43 yarders. The redshirt sophomore earned C-USA Special teams Player of the Week twice on the campaign and scored nine-plus points in 10-of-13 games. - Western Kentucky Football

  OCT 25 C-USA SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: WKU K Brayden Narveson scored 10 points for the Hilltoppers while not missing a kick in WKU's 34-19 victory at FIU. Narveson made field goals of 23 and 26 yards, while going 4-of-4 on extra points. For the season, the Arizona native is 12-of-14 on field goal attempts and a perfect 31-of-31 on extra points. This marks the third time Narveson has earned C-USA Special Teams Player of the Week during his career (Oct. 3 and Dec. 6 of 2020 in wins over Middle Tennessee and Charlotte, respectively). - C-USA Football

  Western Kentucky football specialists Brayden Narveson and John Haggerty III are included on preseason watch lists, the school announced Wednesday. Narveson earned a spot on the Lou Groza Award Watch List, while Haggerty was named to the Ray Guy Award Watch List. The Hilltoppers were one of 12 programs with both a kicker and a punter honored. After transferring to WKU in the summer of 2020, Narveson won the starting kicking job during fall camp and didn't look back, producing one of the most accurate campaigns in WKU's 102-season program history. The redshirt sophomore transfer made 13-of-14 field-goal attempts and was 27-of-27 on extra-point tries in 2020, scoring 66 total points in 12 games. His 93% field-goal mark tied for third among all FBS kickers and ranked second for a single season all-time in WKU history to Garrett Schwettman's 15-of-16 (94%) performance in 2015. - BG Daily News

He has made 6-of-6 field goals in the 40-49 range and 5-of-5 from the 30-39 distance, while his 53-yarder at Middle Tennessee was the third-longest ever for a Hilltopper. The Scottsdale, Ariz., native went a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals and 4-for-4 on PATs in the game. Narveson connected on field goals of 33, 46 and 49 yards in the contest.
