Two of Penn State's biggest transfer additions have made their way to campus in time for the summer. Demeioun Robinson and Hunter Nourzad have both enrolled and could both play important roles in the season. Nourzad comes in as an offensive lineman best suited to play guard and according to Franklin will be in the competition along the interior. "He is a big, strong, powerful, thick guy," Franklin said. "... I think we've got really good competition at the guard position. I think we've got five guys that will be competing for those two starting jobs." - Centre Times

Jameson Wang ran for two touchdowns, Cornell kept Penn's offense out of the end zone and the Big Red pulled out a 15-12 win Saturday in the 127th meeting between the long-time rivals. Wang ran 21 yards for the game's first score in the second quarter, but the Quakers got a pair of Daniel Karrash field goals to trail 7-6 at intermission. Penn took the lead in the third quarter when Jordan Niles blocked a Cornell punt and Mozi Bici recovered the ball in the end zone with 4:19 left. Cornell (2-6, 1-4 Ivy League) came right back following the Penn (3-5, 1-4) kickoff and drove 75 yards in six plays to score the go-ahead touchdown on Wang's 1-yard run with 1:08 left in the third quarter. Wang was 4-of-7 passing for 55 yards with an interception and carried 10 times for another 55 yards. Richie Kenney was 8-of-20 passing for 128 yards. Aidan Sayin was 26 of 45 for 247 yards passing, but the Quakers managed just 78 yards rushing on 25 carries. - AP College Football

2019 ALL-IVY LEAGUE SECOND TEAM (COACHES): Hunter Nourzad, Cornell (So., OL - Marietta, Ga.),...Nourzad anchored the offensive line with 10 starts at right tackle. Despite having only one returning starter, the line helped Cornell increase its scoring average, total offense and rushing touchdown totals from a season ago. The Big Red allowed one sack or less in five of the team's games. He helped plow the way for an offense that rushed for 263 yards and three touchdowns in a win at Marist and opened holes for teammate Harold Coles' career-best 141-yard performance at Ivy preseason favorite Yale as the Big Red line surrendered just one sack. Nourzad paved the way for 470 yards of offense and 37 points without allowing a sack in the win over Brown. Cornell had four games with more than 400 yards of total offense – including two 200-yard rushing games and five with at least 250 passing yards. - Cornell Football
