  Troy Fautanu - a second-team All-Pac-12 selection this fall - will return for a fifth season in 2023, he announced Monday night. Fautanu, a fourth-year sophomore, started all 12 games this fall, 11 of them at left tackle. He was named Pac-12 Offensive Lineman of the Week following UW's 39-28 win over Michigan State on Sept. 17. A Henderson, Nevada, native and former Liberty High School standout, Fautanu has appeared in 25 games - starting 15 - across four seasons in Seattle. Fautanu and redshirt freshman right tackle Roger Rosengarten will be back to anchor the Husky offensive line next season. - Seattle Times

  SEPT 12 PAC-12 OFFENSIVE LINEMAN OF THE WEEK: Troy Fautanu, So., LT, Washington (Henderson, Nev.),...Fautanu was the Huskies' top-rated lineman in Washington's 39-28 victory over No. 11 Michigan State on Saturday...Washington rolled up 503 yards of total offense and held Michigan State, who entered the week as the national leader in sacks, to no sacks and just one tackle for loss (for a one-yard loss). The starting O-line has yet to allow a sack this season...Washington's offense scored a touchdown on five of the first six drives vs. the Spartans, rolling to a 29-8 lead at halftime...Only the second Washington player to earn this award since it was created prior to the 2019 season. Luke Wattenberg took it home in Week 3 of the 2020 season.
