 Tyrell Alexander, Vanderbilt, Player News

Vanderbilt football has added former Oklahoma State wide receiver Tyrell Alexander to the fold as a graduate transfer. The 6-foot-1,182-pound Alexander announced his decision to join Vanderbilt on Sunday via Twitter after three seasons with the Cowboys, mostly playing on special teams. Alexander entered the program as a receiver, but bounced to cornerback and back to receiver in 2018. He played 11 games in 2019 as a receiver and on special teams. The Lancaster, Texas, native caught two passes in 2017 for 68 yards, his only stats at receiver, although he appeared in 23 of 24 games during 2018 and '19. Alexander announced he would enter the NCAA transfer portal in January after graduating from Oklahoma State one semester early. - The Tennessean
