Jelani Woods, Oklahoma State, Player News

2020 JOHN MACKEY AWARD PRESEASON WATCH LIST: Jalani Woods, Oklahoma State,...Originally a quarterback for the Cowboy football team, Woods moved to Cowboy back at the end of the 2017 season and has excelled since the transition. Last season, Woods played in all 13 games for the Cowboys and started 12. He was a versatile player who caught passes and played an important role in blocking for OSU's potent rushing attack. He finished the year with 16 catches for 112 yards and a touchdown, while setting a career high with five receptions against Baylor.

As a redshirt freshman in 2018, Woods was regular weapon in the Cowboy attack before injury held him out of the final two games of the season. He played in 11 games with seven starts while making seven receptions for 120 yards and two touchdowns, including a crucial score in the Cowboys' Homecoming win over No. 6 Texas. - Oklahoma State Football
