Jaylon Henderson, Boise State, Player News

Without the luxury of in-person workouts, NFL Draft hopefuls are going on camera in hopes of catching the eye of scouts. In an effort to slow the spread of coronavirus, the NFL has banned all in-person visits leading up to the draft, effectively canceling organized pro days across the country. That hasn't stopped prospects from recording workouts with private trainers, though, and three former Boise State players released such videos the past couple weeks. Quarterback Jaylon Henderson's and tight end Garrett Collingham's were posted on YouTube last week.

Henderson ran the 40-yard dash in 4.65 seconds, posted a 10-foot broad jump and 37-inch vertical leap and a time of 6.93 seconds in the three-cone drill. He also showed off his accuracy and arm strength with a mix of timing and deep routes. Henderson, a former junior college transfer, went 4-0 last fall as the Broncos' starter in the final three games of the regular season and the Mountain West championship game. He didn't start the Las Vegas Bowl, but he did replace starter Hank Bachmeier in the second half and led Boise State's only scoring drive. Henderson finished his final college season with 1,080 passing yards, 14 total touchdowns (12 passing) and two interceptions. - Idaho Statesman

Jaylon Henderson threw for 220 yards and two touchdowns and ran for another score to lead No. 19 Boise State to a 31-10 victory over Hawaii in the Mountain West championship game Saturday. Boise State (12-1, No. 19 CFP) won its second conference title in three years, beating Hawaii again this season after winning the Oct. 12th meeting, 59-37. After rolling up 518 yards of offense in the first game, the Broncos leaned on their defense in the rematch. The Broncos made two defensive stands inside the 5, once in the second quarter and another early in the third.

Hawaii (9-5) was making its first appearance in the title game. It enjoyed some success through the air with Cole McDonald passing for 241 yards, but couldn't overcome early problems in the red zone. Henderson, a senior who began the season as the third string quarterback on the depth chart, started the final four games of the season after both Hank Bachmeier and Chase Cord suffered injuries. The offense didn't seem to miss a beat with him at the helm. Tied at 3 late in the first half, Boise State scored two touchdowns in a 53-second span on a pair of 36-yard touchdown strikes. He dropped the first one into Khalil Shakir on a streak down the near sideline with 1:07 remaining in the half. - Boise State/AP College Football

Jaylon Henderson accounted for three scores, defensive tackle David Moa came up with a big late sack and No. 20 Boise State beat Colorado State 31-24 on Saturday to finish undefeated in Mountain West conference play for the first time. Henderson ran for a short score early in the fourth to give Boise State some breathing room. He also threw two TD passes, giving him eight over the past three games as he fills in for banged-up starter Hank Bachmeier and backup Chase Cord. Garrett Collingham hauled in one of Henderson's TD passes and ran in another as the Broncos head into the league's championship game with a head of steam. They host Hawaii on Saturday.

This version of Boise State (11-1, 8-0 MW, No. 20 CFP) became the program's first to run through Mountain West regular season play unblemished. The Broncos have finished the conference portion of their schedule with one loss five times since joining the league in 2011. Patrick O'Brien threw for 289 yards and two TDs for the Rams (4-8, 3-5), who dropped to 0-9 all-time against Boise State.   Jaylon Henderson threw for 292 yards and three touchdowns, Sonatane Lui had two fumble recoveries, including one for a score, and No. 21 Boise State beat New Mexico 42-9 on Saturday night. Boise State (9-1, 5-0, No. 21 CFP), which maintained its one-game lead atop the Mountain Division, raced out to a 28-0 lead in the first quarter and was never seriously challenged. It was the first time the Broncos scored that many points in the first quarter since registering 28 against Idaho on Nov. 12, 2010. New Mexico (2-8, 0-6) was playing for the first time since defensive lineman Nahje Flowers died on Nov. 5. The Lobos' game with Air Force was postponed last weekend to allow the team time to grieve Flowers' death.

Henderson, a senior who has seen limited action since transferring to Boise State last season, made the most of his opportunity, starting in place of the injured second-string quarterback Chase Cord. Henderson's first three possessions, including an eight-play, 97-yard drive, ended in touchdowns. The Lobos, who had been competitive in all their league games, avoided getting shut out for the first time this season when Andrew Shelley kicked a 40-yard field goal late in the third quarter. New Mexico added a touchdown late in the fourth. - Boise State/AP College Football
