  2019 ALL-BIG TEN FIRST TEAM (COACHES): OT Jon Runyan, Michigan,...For the second year running, all five of Michigan's starting offensive linemen received conference recognition. As a group, this year's line allowed 1.83 sacks per game (1.6 in league play, No. 2 Big Ten). Michigan's offense operated at an 81 percent clip in the red zone, scoring on 46 of 57 trips with 35 touchdowns. The U-M offensive line allowed 22 sacks and 57 tackles for loss one year after allowing 23 sacks and 59 tackles for loss in 2018. - Michigan Football

  2019 PRESEASON OUTLAND TROPHY WATCH LIST: OT Jon Runyan, Michigan,...Runyan was a first-team All-Big Ten pick by the coaches last year and a second-team selection by the media. In his first year starting at left tackle, Runyan started all 13 games and was recognized with the Hugh H. Rader Memorial Award given to the team's best lineman, joining his father Jon (1994) as the only father-son recipients in program history.

For his career, Runyan has made 15 starts in 23 career appearances. He was twice named Offensive Lineman of the Week last season as he helped stabilize an offensive line that produced one of the five most productive offensive seasons in program history. - Michigan Football
