TRADE NOTES
Bengals 2022 Draft History
1 9 9  Keith Rivers OLB Southern Cal
Draft Scout Says: While the Bengals would have preferred defensive tackle Sedrick Ellis fall to them, his former USC teammate Keith Rivers is a heckuva consolation prize. Rivers combination of instincts, size, and athletic ability gives Marvin Lewis the dynamic front seven defender he's lacked throughout his tenure in Cincinnati.
Lions 2022 Draft History
2 14 45  Jordon Dizon OLB Colorado
Draft Scout Says: Last year the Lions surprised with the selection of Boise State safety Gerald Alexander. This year Jordon Dizon was the surprising Detroit pick of the second round. While he lacks the elite athleticism scouts are looking for, his production while at Colorado shows his ability. A few years ago NFLDraftScout.com was among the few to characterize Seattle's drafting of Lofa Tatupu as a strong pick. Dizon, like Tatupu lacks the size/speed numbers, but he ranks among the draft's most instinctive defenders and reliable open-field tacklers.
Jags 2022 Draft History
2 21 52  Quentin Groves OLB Auburn (From Bucs)
Draft Scout Says: Jacksonville entered the draft needing a speed rusher. After aggressively moving up to get Derrick Harvey in the first round, the team went to the well again, securing another speedy SEC pass rusher in Groves. There isn't a team in the league that made a greater improvement in their pass rush than the Jaguars via the first day of the draft.
Patriots 2022 Draft History
3 15 78  Shawn Crable OLB Michigan (From Saints)
Draft Scout Says: The Patriots are always looking for pass rush production from their outside linebackers, and in Crable, they added the Big Ten leader in tackles for loss. Crable lacks the bulk to hold up at the point of attack as well as preferred, but he certainly provides burst off the edge.
Eagles 2022 Draft History
3 17 80  Bryan Smith OLB McNeese State
Draft Scout Says: One of the early reaches of the third round, the Eagles added outside linebacker Bryan Smith. Smith has the athleticism scouts are looking for and had been moving up the board, but with questions about his level of competition, he was viewed as a late round prospect, at best.
Steelers 2022 Draft History
3 25 88  Bruce Davis OLB UCLA
Draft Scout Says: As the Steelers did last year with former Michigan standout LaMarr Woodley, the club may have struck OLB gold with Bruce Davis in the third round. Davis, a collegiate DE, struggled in making the transition to linebacker at the Senior Bowl practices, but has the athleticism to handle this move with time.
Lions 2022 Draft History
3 29 92  Cliff Avril OLB Purdue (From Cowboys)
Draft Scout Says: Needing pure pass rushers, the Lions added a classic 'tweener in Cliff Avril in the third round. The latest in a long line of former Purdue defensive ends that come into the league and surprise as pass rushing DEs and OLBs, Avril enjoyed a strong week of practice at the Senior Bowl and at the Combine.

5 21 154  Kroy Biermann OLB Montana (From Redskins)
Colts 2022 Draft History
5 28 161  Marcus Howard OLB Georgia
Cowboys 2022 Draft History
6 1 167  Erik Walden OLB Middle Tennessee State (Cowboys acquired pick and 6th-round pick in 2009 draft from Dolphins for NT Jason Ferguson and 6th-round pick in 2008 draft, February 29, 2008.)
