He ranked No. 3 in the MAC in punting with a 42.2 average per punt (55 punts for 2,321 yards). With a long of 65 yards, Elzinga kicked eight 50-yard punts, placed 22 inside the 20-yard line and had no punts blocked. He also served as the Chippewas' holder on PATs and field goals.
