  07/29/19 - Alex GivensrSr/2020, Mississippi, 6-6, 308 (DS#24 OT) + More +

The Ole Miss football team is already thin in experience on the offensive line, and this fall the Rebels might be a little bit thinner. Ole Miss athletics announced Monday morning that senior offensive tackle Alex Givens will be limited in fall practices after undergoing a successful surgical procedure on his lower back on July 18. The announcement said the team is hopeful that Givens will be cleared to return in time for the season opener against Memphis on Aug. 31. Givens has started 24 games for Ole Miss over the last three seasons and is one of two returning starters on the Rebels' offensive line for 2019. - The Clarion Ledger

That includes the final game of the season, when his 56-yard field goal came in the final minute of a 27-24 win over FAU.
