  2022 ALL-BIG SKY THIRD TEAM: K Isaiah Gomez (UCD),...Gomez finished his Aggie career on fire, proving to be one of the most reliable kickers in the country as he connected on his final 15 field goal attempts. The senior was a perfect 3-for-3 on field goals in four different contests as his 1.64 field goals per game led the Big Sky and ranked second in the nation. He finished 18-for-24 with a long of 46 yards. His 19 field goals in 2021 and now his 18 this season are the top two single season marks in school history. - California-Davis Football

  NOV 21 BIG SKY DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: David Meyer (Cal Poly),...Cal Poly's David Meyer recorded double-digit tackles for the third time this season with 11 stops (7 solo, 4 assisted) in the 49-42 win over Portland State. He also notched his first career Mustang interception, halting Portland State's final drive of the game. Meyer also stopped Portland State on a 4th-and-4 play when Nathan West was stopped for a one-yard gain to the Cal Poly 33-yard line, turning the ball over to Cal Poly midway through the third quarter and preserving Cal Poly's 28-21 lead.   NOV 14 BIG SKY CO-OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: UC Davis running back Ulonzo Gilliam Jr. shared honors with MSU's Johnson on the offensive side of the ball after leading the Aggies to an upset road win over No. 15 Idaho on Saturday. Gilliam rushed for 164 yards, eclipsing the 100-yard mark in the first half, while scoring three times for the Aggies. On his first score of the game, Gilliam broke the UC Davis career rushing touchdown record of 40 that was held by Preston Jackson (1991-93), before also moving past the 1,000-yard rushing mark for the season.   NOV 14 FEDEX GROUND FCS NATIONAL OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Ulonzo Gilliam Jr., UC Davis, RB, R-Sr., 5-9, 183, Merced, California,...Gilliam set a career high for carries with 30 while rushing for 164 yards and three touchdowns in the Aggies' 44-26 win at then-No. 15 Idaho in the Big Sky. It was Gilliam's eighth game this season and the 22nd of his career with at least 100 rushing yards. His final TD was the 50th of his record-setting career. He also caught three passes.   Ulonzo Gilliam Jr. ran for 173 yards on 31 carries and reached the end zone three times and UC Davis beat Idaho 44-26 on Saturday. Gilliam also recorded his second 1,000-yard rushing season and set the all-time rushing touchdown record on his first score. The win was the fifth in a row for the Aggies (6-4, 5-2 Big Sky). In his return to his home state, Lan Larison ran away from the Idaho defense for a 33-yard score to give the Aggies a 7-0 lead on just four plays on the opening drive.

Larison finished with 68 yards on seven carries. Isaiah Gomez connected on all three of his field goals and is now 13 for 13 tries in his last six games. Redshirt freshman Rex Connors posted 15 total tackles; including 10 solo stops. The win sets up next Saturday's showdown against league leading Sacramento State. Gevani McCoy threw for 345 yards and two touchdowns for Idaho (6-4, 5-2). Hayden Hatten finished with 126 yards receiving on 13 catches with two touchdowns. - UC Davis/AP College Football

  OCT 31 BIG SKY OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Miles Hastings (UC Davis),...UC Davis quarterback Miles Hastings was named the Big Sky Football Offensive Player of the Week, after leading the charge for the red-hot Aggies in their 59-17 win over Cal Poly this past Saturday. Hastings passed for a career-high 425 yards and four touchdowns, while completing 22 of his 27 attempts through the air. UC Davis has scored 50 or more points in its last three games, with Hastings completing 82 percent of his passes for 1,004 yards and nine touchdowns during the three-game win streak.   Ulonzo Gilliam Jr. ran for 132 yards and two third-quarter touchdowns and Miles Hastings threw for 270 yards and two more scores as UC Davis walloped Idaho State, 43-3 in a Big Sky Conference contest Saturday night. Idaho State scored first on an Ian Hershey 33-yard field goal with 10:36 left in the first quarter, but the Bengals were limited to 150 total yards and were blanked the rest of the way. Isaiah Gomez kicked three first-half field goals, including a 45-yarder midway through the first quarter that tied the game at 3-3. Hastings tossed a 1-yard pass to C.J. Hutton just before halftime to stake the Aggies to a 22-3 lead. Gilliam was already the UC Davis all-time leading rusher and holds school records for all-purpose yards and touchdowns. His two third-quarter touchdowns made him the all-time leader in total points scored by a non-kicker with 286. He entered the game with 5,665 all-purpose yards. - AP College Football
