  NOV 7 FEDEX GROUND FCS NATIONAL FRESHMAN PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Dominic Kibby, Presbyterian, WR, Fr., 6-1, 175, Catonsville, Maryland,...Kibby, a true freshman, racked up seven catches for 212 yards and three touchdowns in Presbyterian's 52-28 loss to Dayton in the PFL. His touchdowns went for 75, 63 and 31 yards, remaining in line with a recent hot stretch in which Kibby has averaged 26.4 yards on 16 catches over three Blue Hose games.   Nate Hayden passed for 253 yards and three touchdowns to help Presbyterian beat Virginia Lynchburg 21-13 on Saturday. Presbyterian edged a school from the National Christian College Athletic Association despite losing the turnover battle 4-1 - with two interceptions and two fumbles. Virginia Lynchburg got within one score with 2:34 remaining in the fourth quarter, but its onside kick attempt was unsuccessful and Presbyterian ran out the clock.

Hayden was 21-of-32 passing with two interceptions for Presbyterian (1-1). Freshman Dominic Kibby made seven catches for 110 yards and a touchdown, and Worth Warner had three catches for 34 yards and two scores. Delvecchio Powell II carried it 15 times for 69 yards. Hayden floated a 41-yard TD pass to Kibby to tie it at 7-all late in the opening half. Hayden later passed for 66 yards during a 13-play drive, capped by a 9-yard pass to Warner for a 14-7 lead. Warner's 13-yard touchdown catch made it 21-7 early in the fourth quarter. CJ Brooks completed 17 of 40 passes for 238 yards and a touchdown for Virginia Lynchburg.   Presbyterian awaits their 16th season as a Football Championship Subdivision (FCS) program this fall off the back of a 2021 slate that saw the blue and white collect nearly 5,700 yards of total offense beside 37 points per contest. Redshirt junior running back Delvecchio Powell II looks to build off a productive individual campaign a year ago that saw the Georgia native compile 775 yards on the ground alongside six touchdowns, adding an additional 447 receiving yards and another TD throughout the semester. On the defensive side of the ball, sophomore linebacker Alex Herriott returns after totaling a team-best 61 tackles (eight of which were for a loss) and three sacks during PC's '21 venture. - Presbyterian Football

  NOV 11 BIG SOUTH FRESHMAN OF THE WEEK: Presbyterian College defensive back Jeffrey Smyth (Orange Park, Fla.) had a career-high 13 tackles with 1.0 tackles-for-loss and an interception for 31 yards in the Blue Hose's 24-14 win over Gardner-Webb. His interception was in the first quarter on a 3rd-and-10 play in PC territory. Smyth made six stops in the second period, and had three solo tackles in the fourth quarter on Gardner-Webb's final possession. Also nominated for Freshman of the Week: Hajj-Malik Williams (Campbell) and Tyrese Wright (Monmouth). - Big South Football

  2019 PRESEASON ALL-BIG SOUTH HONORABLE MENTION (MEDIA/COACHES): LB - Jarrett Nagy, Soph., Presbyterian,...Nagy led all freshman in the Big South with 89 total tackles, which is second on the team just one behind fellow linebacker Colby Campbell. The freshman had five games with at least ten tackles including three contests with a career-high 12 tackles.

He finished third in the league amongst linebackers and fourth overall with 47 solo tackles on the year. He had a season-high 2.0 tackles for loss against Monmouth. Nagy recorded 0.5 sack against Hampton where he also had one of his two quarterback hurries. The freshman recorded his lone interception of the year in the Blue Hose season finale matchup at Wofford. - Presbyterian Football

  2019 PRESEASON ALL-BIG SOUTH HONORABLE MENTION (MEDIA/COACHES): OL - Eli Teeselink, R-Sr., Presbyterian,...Teeselink played and started in all 10 games all coming at Center as has made 28 straight starts including each of the last two years. The Blue Hose center recorded 38 knockdowns and had 32 1st Down/Touchdown Blocks during the 2018 season as he didn’t allow a sack. He was part of an offensive line that allowed just five sacks which was second fewest in the Big South.
