Ryland Goede, Mississippi State, Player News

Mississippi State has its first tight end and a new volleyball player to boot. Georgia tight end Ryland Goede committed to transfer to MSU on Monday, and he'll bring his fiancĂ©e - volleyball player Alexa Fortin - to Starkville as well. Goede did not record any statistics during the 2022 season on a national champion Georgia team featuring a pair of standout tight ends in Brock Bowers and Darnell Washington. The fourth-year junior played in 13 games in 2019 and 2021, missing the 2020 season while recovering from shoulder surgery. The Kennesaw, Georgia, product is a former four-star recruit. - The Dispatch
