OCT 10 PAC-12 SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Carter Brown, Fr., K, Arizona State (Pearland, Texas),...Brown continues to excel, doing his job in Arizona State's 45-38 victory over No. 21 Washington with a FG and 6 extra points...Brown's 53-yard field goal (3:57 left in 1Q) was the 6th-longest field goal in ASU history. It is also a career-high, surpassing his previous mark of 48 vs. NAU on Sept. 1st, 2022. It is the 3rd-longest field goal by a Sun Devil at Sun Devil Stadium since 1982, and the longes t field goal since 2016...The longest field goal made by a true freshman in ASU history. He ties Thomas Weber (2007) for the longest by any freshman, as Weber was a redshirt freshman when he made a 53-yarder.Tied for the longest field goal made by a Pac-12 kicker this season (Stanford K Joshua Karty, Oct. 1 vs Oregon)...Now 9/10 on field goals and has made all 18 of his extra points this season, accounting for a team-high 45 points...2nd time taking home this honor this season after winning in We ek 1. SEPT 6 PAC-12 SPECIAL TEAMS PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Carter Brown, Fr., K, Arizona State (Pearland, Texas),...The true freshman proved he belonged on the big stage, enjoying a perfect first game in a Sun Devil uniform on Thursday night in Arizona State's 40-3 season opening win over NAU. Brown went 4-for-4 on his field goal attempts and 4-for-4 on extra points, making him responsible for 16 total points...Was the only kicker in the entire FBS to make four field goals during the opening week. Brown nailed kic ks from 27 and 36 yards before finishing up with a pair of 44-yard field goals to put the game away in the fourth quarter...Became the first Sun Devil kicker ever with four field goals in his first game. The performance is tied for the fourth-most made f ield goals in single-game program history since 1996...Led all Pac-12 kickers in scoring by four points, with no other kicker making more than two field goals in the opening week...First Sun Devil to win this award since KR D.J.
