He ranks second in the OVC with 89.3 yards per game while his 7.5 yards per carry ranks second nationally. Dresser Winn threw a 37-yard touchdown pass to Donnell Williams with 3:36 remaining, and UT Martin forced a pair of late interceptions to beat Missouri State 32-31 on Saturday night in the first round of the Football Championship Series playoffs. The Ohio Valley Conference champion Skyhawks (10-2) will face eighth-seeded Montana State in the second round. UT Martin's John Ford intercepted a Jason Shelley pass before Winn and Williams connected for the game-winning score on the next play. On the Bears' final drive, Shelley led them to the UT Martin 46, but he threw an interception to D'Carrious Stephens with 1:03 left. There were eight lead changes in the game. Winn completed 23 of 43 passes for 272 yards and threw two touchdown passes and an interception. Peyton Logan and Zak Wallace each had a TD run for the Skyhawks. Shelley was 22-of-42 passing for 279 yards and threw three touchdown passes and three interceptions for Missouri State (8-4). He added 93 yards rushing on 13 carries. Keon Howard threw two touchdown passes and Zak Wallace ran for two scores as UT Martin built a big first half lead and cruised past Tennessee Tech 42-3 on Saturday. UT Martin (9-1, 5-0 Ohio Valley Conference), ranked 10th in the FCS coaches poll, has the second longest active winning streak in the FCS and has won a program-best nine straight games. Peyton Logan carried the ball seven times for 116 yards that included a 34-yard touchdown run in the first quarter for the Skyhawks, who have won nine in a row against Tennessee Tech (3-7, 1-4). Wallace broke loose on a 50-yard touchdown run and a 13-yarder early in the first half. He finished with eight carries for 90 yards. Howard threw a 62-yard touchdown pass to Deray Lawrence with about five minutes remaining in the second quarter and then connected with Rodney Williams II on a 4-yard score with 12 seconds left before halftime to stretch the Skyhawks' lead to 35-3. Zak Wallace and Keon Howard accounted for 322 yards and five touchdowns and FCS No. 15-ranked UT Martin routed Tennessee State 41-20 on Saturday. The Skyhawks (8-1, 4-0 Ohio Valley Conference) now have won eight straight. They each ran for two touchdowns, Wallace picking up 123 yards on 14 carries and Howard tallied 75 yards on eight carries. Howard also threw for 124 and a touchdown. Peyton Logan added 72 yards rushing on 12 carries. After a scoreless first quarter, Howard threw a 13-yard score to Randy Fields Jr. for a 7-0 lead. Antonio Zita kicked a 28-yard field goal to get Tennessee State (5-4, 3-2) on the board. But Howard and Wallace broke it open with scoring runs of 1 and 22 yards in a 74-second span before halftime.
