  WEEK 13 BIG SKY Special Teams Player of the Week: Trajan Sinatra, Idaho State (K, So., San Jose, CA),...Trajan Sinatra had another perfect kicking day, as he helped lead Idaho State to a 37-16 win over rival Idaho in Moscow. Sinatra was 3-of-3 on field goal attempts, connecting on kicks from 39, 33, and 19 yards, while also going a perfect 4-of-4 on PATs. Sinatra finished the day with 13 points in the Bengals' win. Sinatra also placed his name in the ISU record book, with his performance, he now holds the single-season kick scoring record for the Bengals with 97 points. The victory for ISU marks its first over the Vandals since 1981, as the Bengals finish a perfect 4-0 in November.   Jordan Cooke accounted for four touchdowns, Dason Brooks had 23 carries for 103 yards rushing, and Idaho State beat Idaho 38-17 on Saturday in the season finale for both teams. Cooke was 20-of-33 passing for 212 yards, and added 72 yards rushing, which included scoring runs of 1 and 9 yards, on 13 carries. He hit Ian Duarte for a 14-yard touchdown late in the first quarter and Tsion Nunnally for a 30-yarder with 30 seconds left in the second. The Bengals recovered an onside kick and Trajan Sinatra made a 33-yard field goal as time expired to give the Bengals a 27-0 lead at halftime.

Idaho (4-8, 2-6), which was ranked No. 12 in the preseason FCS coaches poll, has lost three in a row. Joshua Wood completed 9 of 13 for 73 yards passing and threw an interception before he was replaced in the second half. Sawyer Teeney was 8-of-12 passing for 53 yards and threw a 21-yard TD pass to Nolan McWilliams in the fourth quarter. Nate Thomas had 66 yards rushing and a touchdown. Brooks has 1,006 yards rushing this season and is the eighth player in program history to top 1,000 in a season. - AP College Football

Cooke finished 24-of-39 passing for 363 yards, tossing two touchdowns and no interceptions, while adding 65 yards on the ground and two scores. The sophomore was a perfect 6-of-6 kicking, converting five PATs and a field goal to total 11 points on the day. Sinatra's kick capped Idaho State's first Top-10 win since 2021. The kick was Sinatra's second made field goal over 50 yards of the 2025 season. The weekly honor is the fourth of the year for Sinatra.   WEEK 10 BIG SKY DEFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Nathan Reynolds, Idaho State (LB, Jr., Meridian, Idaho.),...Idaho State's Nathan Reynolds anchored the Bengal defense with seven tackles and a game-sealing interception in the 38-36 upset win over No. 6 UC Davis on the road. Reynolds' interception killed the potential UC Davis game-winning drive, as he picked off a pass on the Idaho State 36-yard line with 15 seconds remaining in the game. The Top-10 win for Idaho State was the first for the program since 2021 as Reynolds aided the defensive effort to force three UC Davis turnovers on the day and limit the Aggies to just 2-of-8 on third downs on the day.   WEEK 10 BIG SKY OFFENSIVE PLAYER OF THE WEEK: Dason Brooks, Idaho State (RB, R-Jr., Chandler, Ariz.),...Idaho State's Dason Brooks powered the Bengal offense in a 38-36 upset of No. 6 UC Davis on the road. The redshirt junior rushed for 219 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 9.1 yards per attempt on the day. His 219 yards rushing ranks sixth all-time in Idaho State history and marks the program's first 200-yard rushing performance since 2017. Brooks scored on runs of 57 and 15 yards. The weekly honor is the second of the season for Brooks.   Jordan Cooke was 24-of-39 passing for 363 yards and accounted for three touchdowns to help Idaho State beat Weber State 31-3 on Saturday. Cooke ran for a 2-yard touchdown run that capped a five-play, 75-yard opening drive and gave Idaho State (5-6, 4-3 Big Sky Conference) a 7-0 lead just more than two minutes into the game. Dason Brooks scored on a 3-yard run early in the second quarter and Cooke hit Damien Morgan for a 29-yard touchdown in the second quarter. Trajan Sinatra kicked a 48-yard field goal and Cooke threw an 11-yard TD pass to Ian Duarte in the third to stretch the lead to 31-0. Sloan Calder kicked a 25-yard field goal in the fourth quarter for Weber State (3-8, 1-6). Dijon Jennings completed 24 of 33 for 192 yards passing for the Wildcats. The Bengals outgained Weber State 531-227 total yards. The Wildcats finished with just 35 yards rushing and averaged 1.5 yards per carry. - AP College Football

  Jordan Cooke threw a touchdown pass and ran for a score, Dason Brooks topped 100 yards rushing with a touchdown and Idaho State posted a wire-to-wire 27-17 victory over Cal Poly on Saturday. Cooke ended a 74-yard game-opening drive with a 17-yard touchdown pass to Michael Shulikov before adding a 3-yard touchdown run to cap a 12-play 91-yard drive and Idaho State (4-6, 3-3 Big Sky Conference) led 14-0 after one quarter. Cal Poly (3-7, 1-5) didn't score until Ty Dieffenbach ran it in from 17 yards out with 91 seconds left before halftime.

That was enough time for Cooke to drive the Bengals 75 yards in seven plays with Brooks scoring on a 5-yard run for a 21-7 advantage. Trajan Sinatra had a 19-yard field goal in the third quarter and a 20-yarder in the fourth. Noah Serna kicked a 36-yard field goal for the Mustangs in the third quarter and Dieffenbach had a 15-yard touchdown pass to Fidel Tau Pitts with 2:32 left in the game. Cooke completed 27 of 37 passes for 275 yards. Brooks finished with 106 yards on 20 carries. Dieffenbach had 172 yards on 18-for-27 passing with an interception.   Trajan Sinatra kicked a 50-yard field goal with 52 seconds left, Dason Brooks had 219 yards rushing and two touchdowns on 24 carries, and Idaho State beat UC Davis 38-36 on Saturday to snap the Aggies' five-game win streak. UC Davis (6-2, 4-1 Big Sky Conference), ranked No. 6 in the FCS coaches poll, lost for the first time since a 70-10 loss to Washington on Sept. 6. Jordan Cooke threw a third-and-3 pass to Tsion Nunnally for a 29-yard gain to the to the UC Davis 32 to set up Sinatra's field goal and Nathan Reynolds intercepted a pass from Caden Pinnick in the closing seconds to seal it.

Cooke finished 21-of-36 passing for 252 yards with two touchdowns and two interceptions and Nunnally had nine receptions for 119 yards. Hunter Ridley kicked his third field goal of the second half, a 46-yarder, to give the Aggies a 36-35 lead with 2:56 remaining. Pinnick completed 23 of 32 passes for 325, including a 4-yard touchdown pass to Laviel Pickett, and threw two interceptions for the Bengals. Carter Vargas ran for TDs of 2 and 7 yards and Zach Jones added an 11-yard scoring run. Jordan Fisher finished with 108 yards rushing on 22 carries and Samuel Gbatu Jr. had six receptions for 112 yards. Isaiah Cook blocked a punt that was returned 16 yards for a score by Aidan Garcia to give Idaho State (4-6, 2-3) a 28-20 lead in the second quarter. - AP College Football

Sinatra hit from 26, 27, 48 and 49 yards on the day, while converting both PAT attempts in the win. Sinatra accounted for 14 of Idaho State's 26 points in the 26-18 road victory. Sinatra has now won weekly conference honors three times this season and is a perfect 9-of-9 kicking field goals this year.   Trajan Sinatra kicked four field goals to remain perfect on the season and Dason Brooks rushed for 166 yards to lead Idaho State Bengals to a 26-16 win over Northern Colorado in a Big Sky opener for both teams on Saturday. Brooks set up multiple scores for the Bengals (2-3), and helped trim time off the clock in the fourth quarter to seal the result. Sinatra's four makes came from 26, 27, 48 and 49 yards. He's now 9 for 9 on the season. Three of those makes and a Carson Sudbury 6-yard touchdown run gave Idaho State a 16-0 lead midway through the second quarter.

Jordan Cook was 12-for-33 for 209 yards, but connected with Tsion Nunnally for a 33-yard touchdown with two seconds remaining in the first half to push the lead to 23-7. Nunnaly had four catches for 71 yards. Cook was replaced by backup Davis Harsin, who was 2-for-6 for 41 yards. He ripped off a 41-yard rush with two minutes remaining to help secure the win. Eric Gibson threw for 396 yards and two touchdowns for Northern Colorado (2-3).   Hunter Hays, returning after missing two games with an injury, threw a 71-yard touchdown pass and Idaho State came up with two more long touchdowns in beating Cal Poly 40-31 on Saturday for its first win. Hays connected with Xavier Guillory a 37-14 lead in the third quarter but needed interceptions by Charles Ike and Josh Alford to outlast the Mustangs (1-5, 0-3 Big Sky). A Bengals field goal with two seconds remaining made it a nine-point win.

Benjamin Omayebu scored on a 51-yard run for the game's first points and Keoua Kauhi had a 60-yarder, breaking a pair of tackles for a 21-7 lead. Raiden Hunter and Soujah Gau added touchdowns for a rushing attack that finished with 293 yards, 200 yards over the Bengals' average. Hays was 17-of-23 passing for 202 yards, a TD and an interception. Guillory had five catches for 120 yards for Idaho State (1-6, 1-3). The Idaho State defense had six sacks and five takeaways. Spencer Brasch was 30-of-48 passing for 392 yards with four touchdowns but also four interceptions.   The 2022 Big Sky Conference Football Kickoff wrapped on Monday as Head Coach Charlie Ragle and student-athletes Josh Alford and Tyler Clemons went through a round of interviews with media from around the conference. Alford and Clemons and the rest of student-athletes from around the conference participated in a clinic with 100 youth from the Spokane area. Later that evening, the Big Sky Conference held its Hall of Fame ceremony. Jared Allen, Stacy Dragila and Dubby Holt were inducted into the inaugral class.

The players went through a round of promotional video and photos on Sunday as well as having meetings pertaining to media interviews and NIL. The preseason polls were released on Monday. Idaho State was picked tied for 11th in the coaches poll with Northern Colorado. The Bengals were picked 12th in the media poll. Montana was picked to win the league in both polls. Idaho State opens fall camp on July 30. The Bengals kickoff the season August 27 at UNLV and their home opener Sept. 17 vs. Central Arkansas. The Bengals host Montana Oct. 1, Cal Poly Oct. 15 and Northern Colorado Oct. 22. The season finale is Nov. 19 vs. Idaho. All home games will kickoff at 1 p.m. - Idaho State Football
