  Luke Emge connected with Kym Wimberly for a go-ahead touchdown with 22 seconds left and Harvard beat Yale 34-31 on Saturday in the 137th edition of The Game. Wimberly also had a 42-yard catch-and-run on the drive to get to the 12-yard line with 39 seconds left. After his score, Yale ran two plays but couldn't get past midfield. Emge was just 13-of-32 passing for 219 yards with two touchdowns and an interception for Harvard (8-2, 5-2 Ivy League). Jonah Lipel, who became Harvard's single-season field-goal leader with 13, set a career high with a 47-yard boot. Harvard took a 20-10 lead on Logan Bednar's 35-yard TD return of a blocked punt. Nolan Grooms threw for three touchdowns for Yale (5-5, 4-3) but he was also intercepted three times. - AP College Football

  Luke Emge threw for three touchdowns and Harvard rolled to a 49-21 win over Columbia on Saturday. The Crimson (6-2, 3-2 Ivy League) raced to a 42-0 lead before the Lions (5-3, 2-3) scored 21-straight points. Aaron Shampklin had a pair of short touchdown runs in the first quarter and finished with 75 yards on 19 carries. Emge had his three scoring tosses in the second quarter, finishing 17 of 25 for 227 yards. Aidan Borguet scored on a 22-yard run in the third quarter before the Lions rallied, but Borguet sealed it with a 10-yard run. He finished with 98 yards on 15 carries. Harvard had 473 yards of total offense. Joe Green threw for 213 yards and a touchdown and had a rushing touchdown for Columbia, which only had 49 yards on the ground. - AP College Football

  Aidan Borguet ran for 169 yards on 22 carries and scored twice and Harvard beat Lafayette 30-3 on Saturday. The Crimson (5-0) scored 10 points in each of the first three quarters against the Patriot League Leopards (2-5). Alex Washington had two interceptions for the Crimson. Ah-Shaun Davis threw for 182 yards for Lafayette with two interceptions. Harvard leads the series 18-3 and has gone 15-2 against the Leopards under head coach Tim Murphy since 1994. Harvard has won seven straight against Lafayette, and is 11-2 all-time against the Leopards in Cambridge. Entering the weekend, Harvard was one of eight undefeated teams in the FCS, joining Dartmouth, East Tennessee State, Eastern Washington, North Dakota State, Princeton, Rhode Island and Sam Houston State. - AP College Football

  Aaron Shampklin ran for 92 yards and a pair of touchdowns and Harvard beat Cornell 24-10 on Saturday. After SK Howard ran for a 24-yard score to give Cornell a 7-3 lead with 4:30 left in the first quarter, Shampklin crashed in from a yard out to end a 10-play, 75-yard drive that took nearly five minutes to start the second half. After Cornell's Scott Lees 33-yard field goal tied it at 10-all with 5:27 before the end of the third, on Harvard's (4-0, 2-0 Ivy League) next play from scrimmage, Charlie Dean threw a 75-yard score to B.J.   Jake Smith passed for three touchdowns, Khalid Thomas made two interceptions and Harvard beat Holy Cross 38-13 on Saturday. Kym Wimberly opened the scoring by catching a Smith pass behind the line of scrimmage and racing 41 yards. Kaedyn Odermann added a 17-yard scoring grab, and Harvard scored 24 unanswered points in the first half. Adam Shepherd scored on a 29-yard grab to make it 31-13. The Harvard defense intercepted three passes, including Khalil Dawsey's 55-yard pick-six for a 21-0 lead. Aaron Shampklin rushed for 72 yards and Aidan Borguet added 59 yards and a score for Harvard (3-0), which entered second among all FCS teams in rushing offense at 289 yards. Matthew Sluka was intercepted twice for Holy Cross (3-2) and Marco Siderman once. The two combined to go 13 of 39 for 125 yards with no touchdowns.   Aaron Shampklin and Sone Ntoh rushed for two touchdowns apiece en route to a 49-17 win over Brown in their Ivy League opener Friday night. A crowd of 20,748 was on hand to watch Crimson coach Tim Murphy earn his 180th Ivy League win, surpassing Yale's Carmen Cozza (1965-96) for most coaching wins in the Ivy. The Crimson, among the teams "also receiving votes" in the FCS coaches poll, put the game away by halftime, taking a 42-0 lead into the break. Ntoh scored form the 8 and Justin Mitchell returned a fumble 13 yards for another TD as Harvard ended the first half with two scores in 11 seconds. The Harvard offense scored five touchdowns on eight first-half possessions, including scores after a Brown fumble, missed field goal, interception and turnover on downs.

Shampklin, the 2018 Ivy League-leading rusher (1,599 yards), carried 13 times for 121 yards and two short TDs. Aidan Borguet rushed for a score. The Crimson had outgained Brown 104-7 by halftime and finished with 243 yards rushing to 14. Brown's EJ Perry completed 34 of 45 passes for 346 yards and two touchdowns, including a two-yarder to Wes Rockett as the game ended. Graham Walker caught eight passes for 126 yards and a TD. The win gives Harvard a streak of 20 home-opening wins. The Crimson came in tied for fourth with James Madison (19) in longest win streak for home openers. Harvard scored a touchdown on its opening three drives and cruised. Aidan Borguet rushed for 56-yard touchdown, Dean connected with Kaedyn Odermann for a 31-yard score, and Shampklin added a 36-yard scoring run for his first TD since Nov. 3 2018. Borguet finished with 80 yards rushing for Harvard (1-0), which played for the first time since Nov. 23, 2019. The Crimson is 5-0 against the Hoyas since 2014, outscoring them 195-31. Joseph Brunell was 20-of-37 passing for 249 yards for Georgetown (1-1), which faces another Ivy League school next week at Columbia.
